This is a story about Phoebe Jane Mori, She's 17 and in her senior year of highschool. She's 5'4 and 20-isn't pounds overweight. She suffers from extreme cases of depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, self harm and binge eating/anorexia(a form of each anyways). She's been bullied, not necessarily to her face all the time, basically her whole life, by both her family and peers. Some people say she's a tad bit bipolar and have a very hard wall. She'd say she's pretty damn good at hiding what shes feeling until shes alone but that doesn't always work. Phoebe hates her family, but most teenagers do, although many have at least one member of their family they don't hate, not her though, she hate every last one of them.
Phoebes best friends name is Jake, he's 18. She's known him for as long as she can remember, but we'll get into that part of the story later to catch up to where she is now. He's very similar to her in the mental disorder area, but he's not overweight or anything like that. He's bullied just like her, but most teenagers are. Jake is practically a perfect human being.
They both go to MasterView High School in South Dakota, USA with their other long-time friend, Angelika and her boyfriend Colby and his friend Sam. You'll know more about them later in the story.
That's enough introduction to give you an idea of who they are and why some things happen they way they do.
