"Merry Christmas." Serena said entering the apartment. She was the last one to arrive, Phoebe and Jake arriving 20 minutes prior.
Serena was a tad bit of an outcast to the group. She and Sam had only started dating a couple of months ago and everyone else had been friends for years. They all had inside jokes and memories that she felt left out of. Sam always reassured her that she wasn't purposely being left out and that she was apart of their little family. But, that didn't change the fact that she was an outsider.
"Hey babe." Sam smiled and kissed her cheek. He knew how Serena felt about being the outsider of the group but he wanted her to join in as much as possible. If she didn't join them on events like this, he would be alone and she would be even more of an outsider.
They all gathered on the couches by the lit up Christmas tree, that was surrounded by presents. They would get to those after sipping on some hot chocolate or coffee, depending on their preference.
"So your family just left you for over a week without any warning?" Serena asked Phoebe not able to believe the fact.
"Yeah but they do that quiet a bit." Phoebe was used to it by now.
"Aren't you scared that someone's going to break into the house while everyone else isn't home?"
"She shouldn't be since I'm there with her." Jake chimed in bringing his girlfriend closer.
"And now I can make sure my girl is okay all the time." Colby commented kissing Angelikas hand.
She laughed, "I'm pretty sure its the other way around sweetheart."
------------
They all exchanged gifts with one another and began to drink the alcohol dropped off by Jakes older brother.
Jake got completely shit faced while everyone else was only mildly tipsy. He began to dance extremely close with Phoebe. She felt uncomfortable with how much he was touching her body.
Serena notice how uncomfortable Phoebe was getting and asked for a dance.
The two, not supper close friends, began dancing while Jake watched from the couch. He was the only one not dancing out of the group as Sam, Serena and Phoebe danced as a group while Angelika and Colby made out in the corner.
"We're going to bed." Colby told Jake before going into his bedroom with his love.
Jake only nodded while he watched the three dance to Birthday by Selena Gomez. Their dancing was too sexual for Jakes liking. He stood and grabbed his and Phoebes bags bringing them down to his car.
She's probably cheating on you while you're away.... The voice inside his mind spoke.
He raced upstairs to see his girlfriend laid across Serena and Sams laps. Anger built up inside his veins.
"What the hell do you think you're doing Golbach?"
Sam look at him bewildered, "Thats my girlfriend. You have your own bitch why do you need mine?"
"One, Serena's not a bitch and neither is Phoebe. Two, I'm not taking Phoebe from you?"
"Bullshit. Shes laying on your crotch."
"Doesn't mean shit dude. She just happened to lay down like this."
He grabbed Phoebe off the couch and began dragging her out the door, "What's your problem Jacob?"
He snapped to look at Serena, "You don't get to call me that bitch. Just stick to being the little slut you are instead of intruding on my business." With that he slammed the door, dragging his girlfriend with.
"What's his deal Sam?" Serena asked, sadness in her voice.
"I don't know but don't let what he said get to you, he drank more than the rest of us." He answered pulling his girlfriend in for a hug.
Moans were heard coming from the other room, causing the two to laugh, "Nasty animals."
Sam knocked on the door of Colby's room, "Could you two keep it down in there? Some of us are trying to talk."
"No promises." Colby yelled back in a breathless voice.
"Freaks." Sam laughed taking a seat next to Serena.
"They're just in love Sammy, let them have fun."
"Sorry but I prefer to not listen to my best friends have sex in the next room."
"Who says they're having sex and not doing other things."
"I don't want to think about them doing anything."
"But you'd think about other people doing things?" She smirked.
"Only us." Sam winked causing them both to laugh.
