Imagine it was your first year in Hogwarts. The nerves began to eat you up from the inside. All you wanted was to be sorted into Gryffindor, unlike your parents, and you thought you had a huge pressure on you to get into Ravenclaw.

However, you instead got sorted into Gryffindor, which was great news for you, and you saw a boy who looked oddly familiar sat alongside you at the table with all the other first year Gryffindors.

"Hi, I'm Harry," The familiar boy said to you, grabbing food to place onto his plate.

"Hello, I'm Y/N," you replied, grabbing the chicken from in front of Harry.

And that is the story of how your beautiful lifelong friendship began, on the first of September at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
