"Ayan, ayan kasi. Next time pag mag-reresearch ka, hindi lang civil status! School din! Sinearch mo lang kung single siya, ganon?!", Mika scolded her best friend.

Ara finally arrived at their apartment and she narrated her encounter with Bang and Thomas.

"Eh malay ko ba! Ikaw, bakit mo kilala yun? Di mo man lang sinabi sakin na taga-La Salle pala siya. Huhuhu, leche talaga!"

"I tried to stop you kaya. Eh ikaw lang 'tong ayaw papigil. Kaibigan ni Jeron yung si Thomas."

"Ha?! Yung kababata mong babaero?!"

Ara's animosity towards Thomas grew all the more.

"Oo. Pero kwento naman ni Jeron, super bait nung si Thom. And yun din naman ang image niya eh. Kaya nga nawindang ako nung nalaman kong siya pala ang target mo that night. He only had one girlfriend, you know. And after they broke up, si girl pa lang ang taken hanggang ngayon. So I guess it's true.", Mika shrugged.

"Anong it's true ka dyan?! Ang totoo lang, lalaki siya at di mapag-kakatiwalaan. Yun yon."

"Ara...", Mika called her with a warning tone.

"Teka bakit ba Ara ka ng Ara? Diba Vic dapat ang tawag mo sa akin?", Ara tried changing the topic.

"Eh kasi diba nag-transform ka nung gabing hinalikan mo si Thomas Torres?"

"Gaga! Kung nag-transform man ako, upgrade yun! Mas lalo ko siyang kinamuhian at ang buong lahi nila."

Mika heaved a deep sigh. She understood where her best friend was coming from. Ara looked up to her father so much... until the man broke her trust. Her father had another woman besides her mom. That same day, Ara found out that her boyfriend got a different girl pregnant.

Her high school heartbreaks made such a huge impact that she carried the hate against men until college.

It resulted in Ara choosing another identity, and forgetting her design as a female.

But with how she's been acting the past few days, Mika felt that what happened with Thomas might have had an effect on the person she has treated as her sister.

"Best... Wala ka na bang feelings para kay Bang? As in... Sure na sure ka na ba sa ginawa mong decision kanina?"

"Ewan ko... Para kasing may mali rin eh...", Ara responded in confusion.

"Ano naman yon?"

"Well, una. Mali yung ginawa ko. Nadala ako ng galit kaya ayun, nabuo ko yung plano. Pangalawa, si Torres. Maling-mali na nagkita pa kami. At ngayon, kilala na niya ako. Huhuhuhu."

Mika smiled after hearing that her bestfriend's thoughts were focused on Thomas.

"Well, mali nga na nadamay pa yung tao. It's not his fault na nagustuhan siya ni Bang. Pero malay mo, after all this time, si Thomas lang pala yung makakapag-change ng perspective mo sa mga lalaki, diba? Why would he chase after you kung wala lang sa kanya yung ginawa mo?"
