"I'm sorry I can't stay but I'll dream of you everyday" he said to his wife before he walked out the door.
"There's no place like home, but your my home" he said as he gave her a kiss.
Then left.
He was sent to Paris, France, to fight in the war.
Birds where flying over Europe skies.
After the war, he returned home.
Only to feel different, when he saw his wife she had looked different.
He felt like he was meeting her for the first time again.
He viewed his life through her eyes.
He knew how much she loved him.
A year later they moved to France.
"Your my home" he said to her as she held their child in her arms, walking down the streets of Paris birds flew over Europe skies once again.
"Promise me you'll be mine" his wife said as her piercing blue eyes stared into his green ones.
"Always" he responded.
