"Why am I warm? father never really keeps me warm" I slowly open my eye it meet...blue ok I know I'm not wet so it has to be a shirt of some kind "Hmm" I look up to meet "Crap was it Grayson that he said his last name is last night"

~FLASHBACK TO LAST NIGHT~

"DEMON GET IN HERE" "NOW" "Can't I play a game for like ten minutes please and this better be important or I kill rip their vocal cords out of them" I get up and pause my game and walk out of the game room(I don't know if there is one but who knows) "What do you two want now?" I look around and it's a small mess compared to the one they had made last week. That was funny to watch them clean without pennyworth's help "I'm not cleaning this" I turn around to go back to the game room to play my game. "Demon, get back here and clean up your dog's mess" "One my dog does not make that big of a mess and two he is outside" I point outside with titus running around outside in the garden or I like to call it the maze chasing an animal of some kind and alfred the cat on the window still asleep in the sun. "Clean up your mess guys " I turn around but Todd grabs me turns me around so I'm facing them and the mess "YOU WILL CLEAN THIS UP RIGHT NOW!" I see Drake go in and unplug my game and come out "HEY I WAS PLAYING THAT!" "Oh, well now clean" "No" "TOO BAD, CLEAN THIS MESS UP DEMON!" I watch them leave to go do something and leave me with the mess they made and blamed it on me to clean up. I look outside and see titus laying down in the sun and alfred in the same spot last time I checked. "Great, I better clean this up or who knows what will happen" I clean for about an hour or so then I see Todd leave and go down into the batcave for who knows what reason 'bang' 'trunk' I look to the side and see one of Drake's disks and to the other side I see a hole which I guess is a bullet hole "REALLY" "Yes" "Why?" "Cause we can that's why" I pull the disk out of the wall a throw it back at them and drake grabs it from the air "Demon" "WHAT NOW?!" "Clean our room before I get back" "No" I see drake walk up to me and look at me and grabs my hair "You will clean up our rooms got it" then drake bangs my head against the wall hard and I slid down the wall "Ha he can't take a hit to the head before he goes down" Todd walks up and bangs my head again "hehe" I see Todd leave to go down into the batcave and Tim going somewhere else. I try to get up without pain but that was a fail "Ow" I stand up and walk into a random room and look around in it "Place to hide" I see a closet and open it "Not much room in here and I hope I can fit into here" I walk in and sit down and close the door and cry "Hello" I'm freezing and sniff 'sniff' "Who is in there?" I just sit there and hug myself sniffling "Where are you and who are you?" "The closet" "Can you come out?" "No" "Why not?" I hear footsteps getting louder and getting closer to me "Cause I know it's you Todd"" "I'm not jason or tim ok" "then who are you?" "Todd and Drake and someone else but I have never met them and no one sees me cry and I don't want them too" "Oh can you come out and I'm the someone else, I'm the oldest here" "Ok and no but, you can sit in here with me" "Ok, can you move and open the door" I shut the door and move over a bit so he could sit in here with me "Ok, you can come in now" I see him open the door and I shut the door as he sat down "so are you the new kid todd was telling me about" "I guess I'm the new kid and who are you again" "I'm richard or dick" "Ok and this is your room?" "Yeah, it's been awhile since I have sat down in my closet and why are you crying damian?" "My brother was yelling at me because my dog made a mess" "Oh, but why did you hide in a closet and not your room?" "They will look for me there first or my fathers room" "Who is you dad?" "Bruce wayne is my father" "HE IS" I whimper from when he yelled "Sorry damian I didn't mean to raise my voice at you and are you sure you are his kid?" "Yeah, he made me get a blood test to make sure i was his kid" "Wow, want a hug?" "Yeah" "Come here" "I'm not moving though" he moves closer to me slowly cause he doesn't know what i could do. "twelve" "Your light for a twelve year old" "Shut up" he puts me on his bed and he rubs my head "I will be back ok" "*yawn* Ok" "damn, how long was I crying for wait HE IS MY OLDER BROTHER. that's just great, just great" I lay down a pretend to be asleep and lay on my side facing away from the door "So, he's the oldest out of the four of us here, well he is better than todd or drake and doesn't yell at me on purpose. He did say sorry about yelling at me when I told him who my father was" I hear the door creak open "Damn kid, did you cry yourself to sleep?" "Hmm" 'thunk' then I feel someone pet my hair "God who is petting me now it must be Grayson petting me" "Grayson, what are you doing with the demon spawn?" "What?" I stay still to keep this act up for a bit longer "Hey there" "What are you doing with the demon spawn dick" "Watching him and don't call him demon spawn did you clean up your guys mess down there" "No" "Why not?" "its todd and drake" I close my eyes and let Grayson keep petting my head. It was hard not to purr like a cat. "He is getting mad, he is trying not to raise his voice,he thinks I'm asleep" "We want to take the kid off our hands and dads, so get rid of him" "No" "No,why not he needs to go" "No you need to go" I hear a growl and I know it's not Titus, he sleeps in my room at night "WAIT THAT'S GRAYSON THAT'S GROWLING but why" "Leave now" "Not till you get rid of him" Grayson stops petting my head and does something 'slam' I sit up "Grayson" I pretend to rub my eyes like I was waking up in the morning. I see him jump "Sorry Damian that I woke you up" " it's fine I wasn't asleep" "Why?" he walks back over and sits down on the bed as I sit up more "I don't really sleep, it was part of my training" "what training baby bat" "I was trained to be an assassin when I was born" "Oh really" "Ya" "Wait you heard everything didn't you" "Yes sadly" "Ok how about this you go to sleep and we talk in the morning, ok?" "Only if you stay here with me" he gave me a weird look he was wondering why " "Umm why" "The first week I came to live here todd and drake tried to kill me in my sleep, so that's why I was always near my father at night" "Oh when you say that of course I will stay but way my" "Father is not going to be here tonight he is off patrolling without me" "What you know that" "He is batman yes I'm the new robin or as todd and drake put it "new kid" now" "oh just go to sleep I will be here when you wake up" "Ok but you need to sleep too" "I will be fine" "No you need to sleep" "Ok how about this we both go to sleep, ok?" "Hmm ok" I lay back down and he pushes me over a bit and lays down next to me "I wonder if he is warm and doesn't mind me snuggling up next to him for warmth" I snuggle into his side and I grab his arm so he stays "Hmm" that was the last thing I hear from him before I went to sleep
