The call
The parents were out, and kayla invited two of her friends over.
Jenny and Marcus.
The phone rang at eight o'clock, and Marcus picked it up.
It was a man.
"Hello?"
"Ill be there in two hours!" The man laughed and hung up.
"Who was it?" Jenny asked.
"Prank caller." Marcus stated.
But deep down Marcus was very afraid.
The phone rang at nine o'clock.
"Hello?" Jenny answered.
"Ill be there in an hour!" The same man laughed evilly, and hung up.
"Who was it?" Asked Marcus.
"Um... this guy that said he'll be here in an hour. Just forget it." Jenny shrugged it off.
She did not know about the first call.
A nine thirty the phone rang.
At first, Marcus hesitated. Kayla answered.
"Hello?"
"Soon now!" The man laughed and hung up.
"Im scared." Said jenny, knowing it was the same man.
"Ill call the operator." State kayla.
She called, and told what happened.
"Call back and ill trace the call if it happens again." The operator said, and hung up.
The phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Very soon now." He laughed, and hung up.
They called the operator, and she traced it.
"The call is coming from upstairs... Ill call the police just get out!" The operator told Marcus.
As soon as he hung up, a man they never knew began down the stairs...with a deadly grin on his face.
