Death cat
*this is a true story*

I worked in a nursing home, I've seen many pass.

the elders tend to get depresed, so we have a cat.

it's to make them comfortable in their room, so they aren't alone.

"hello Mrs feisly" I say as I sat a plate on her table.

she didn't speak, the cat, white as it can be, was laying on the old woman's stomach.

"eat when your ready."

I walk out, at 5 I'm ready to leave and go home.

in the morning, I'm greeted by the news of the death of Mrs feisly.

"Oh. that's a shame, I just walked to her yesterday."

I moved her corpse out if the room, for I am used to this, and Before I left I saw the cat.

for a brief moment, I thought it was all the cats fault, as I saw it walk into another room, with another patient.

I shook my head and walked off to carry the body out of her room.

that's when I went into the room the cat did to find it sitting in a man's lap.

"how are you feeling?" I ask him.

no answer, he strokes the cats fur.

"alright. call me if I'm needed."

I walked out.

it was my lunch break, and I heard people running down the hallway.
he had had a heartattack.

Oh no.

this occurred many times.

I see the cat in a room, the patients dies.

I felt stupid.

this cat is not killing my patients.

I decided to keep a closer eye on that cat.

that's when I consulted somebody.

"so..." I began talking to my boss.
"I don't like that.... I think it may be..."

"killing our patients?" he interrupted me.

"um... "

"fine! take it home and let's see What happens to our patients." he stated.

"not! I'm not gonna die."

"then, be worried sick about our patients and get over it!"

I agreed to take it home.

when I got home and let it out, it did nothing, not even looked at me.

going back in the office with the cat, my boss walked towards me.

"don't you feel smart?"

I sighed.
"I don't get it!"

"it's simple, the cat isn't killing our patients. it's the patients that are dying, so the cat goes to comfort it."
