I didn't want to make this a game only recommendation book so I present to you, Ibis Paint X! This is the paint tool that I use for my drawings. Flygo72 also uses it for her FGtale stuff. It's a free app, however like every other free app, Ibis Paint has ads. It's not the kind where it pops up when you least expect it while you're drawing a masterpiece, it just hosts an ad on the top or bottom of a page. If you want to remove the ads, you can buy the full version or you can install the Ibis Paint app which is $6 by default (that's what the X is for). After the full version is bought for $6, the ads will disappear, you will obtain all of the brushes, and as the app says, will have no difference to the Ibis Paint app which was $6 on the App Store.

The reason I would recommend Ibis Paint X is because it's like a free trial version of Ibis Paint with equally amazing quality (I feel like a saleswoman now). Again, as I said in the Zombie Cafe recommendation, if you want to buy the full version to support the developers, then sure, but you can still enjoy it for free. The final thing I will talk about is the brushes. The full version lets you "have all of the brushes". This doesn't mean you can't get it in the free version though. You can get brushes by watching videos. Not exactly an ideal way to spend your time, but you choose what brushes you get so why not? I spent 30 seconds watching an ad on a game and I got a bleed brush.

Pros: has blur, smudge and a lot of different tools. It's free but the ads aren't as annoying as other apps and you can enjoy it without spending any money. You can import your drawing (that's hand drawn) onto the canvas and trace it.

Cons: there aren't much cons...... But the tutorial is pretty confusing. I had to read it step by step 3 times to understand it (or is that just me). Also, its supposed to be beginner-friendly, so you shouldn't expect some really complex tools in the app.
