In this story Grace is 8. When they come back exactly 5 years later, she is 13. When Connie and Grace leave Connie hasn't broken up with Jacob, they just left without a word. Emma (Sam's girlfriend) doesn't exist in this story. Before Connie and Grace left for New York it was just him and Keiron (his son).
