Framework (gibbs x gibbs daughter reader)

You woke up early just so you could make your dad a special breakfast for Father's Day. You made pancakes bacon and toast. You made a plate for your dad and covered the pancakes in powder sugar just how your dad liked it. You heard him coming downstairs and you quickly fixed his cup of coffee and greeted him at the foot of the stairs.
"Happy Father's Day daddy," you said handing him the coffee.
"Morning (n/n)," he said taking the coffee.
"Breakfast is ready," you said grabbing his hand and dragging him to the table.
"You made all of this," he asked sitting down.
"Yes," you said sitting down next to him.
"Thank you (y/n)," he said kissing your cheek.
"Don't get use to the laziness. You are going to have a lot of things to do today," you said eating pancakes.
Your dads phone started ringing and you just knew all the plans you hand were just canceled.
"Gibb's," he said answering. "Be right there."
He hung up then called Tony, Ziva, and McGee.
"Sorry (n/n) got a case," he said kissing your forehead.
"It's okay dad. Go save the day," you said clearing the table.

after your dad left you went in the basement and continues building your present.
You were making a special frame. It has special carvings that you made yourself. You finished the frame and looked at the time. You grabbed your bag and keys and left the house.

You bought your dad lunch from his favorite place and got him a cup of coffee then headed to NCIS. You greeted the guards as they let you through the gate and into the building. You exited the elevator and saw that your dad was sitting at his desk. You walked over and stood in front of him.

"(Y/n) what are you doing here," he asked looking up.

"Well since you had to work and couldn't go to lunch with me. I brought lunch to you," you said holding out the take out. "And a cup of coffee."

"Thank you but you don't have money how did you get this," he asked you with a raised eyebrow.

"That reminds me. Here's your credit card," you said taking it your of your pocket.

"Really," he asked.

"Happy Father's Day," you said kissing his cheek.

"(Y/n) your hand is bleeding," he says pointing at your hand.

"No it's not," you said hiding your hand behind your back. " I'm gonna see ducky before I leave ."

"Good," he said taking a sip of his coffee.

~in autopsy~

"Hey duck," you said entering autopsy.

"Hello (y/n) what do I owe the visit," he asked.

"I need your help," you said holding out your hand.

"Dear what happened," he asked cleaning your hand.

"I was making dads Father's Day gift and I guess I cut myself," you said as he wrapped your hand.

"May I ask what you were making," he asked once he was done with your hand.

"I can't. Dad has eyes and ears everywhere. He sees and hears everything," you said getting off the table.

"All I want to hear is that your okay," your dad asked walking in.

"I'm fine dad. Did you call grandpa today," you asked him.

"Yes he is coming over tonight. Now you need to go home. And I need to solve a murder," he said.

"Okay daddy get the bad guy," you said kissing his cheek.

~dinner time~ (because I'm lazy)

You were in the kitchen taking the steaks out of the fridge when you heard the doorbell. Your dad opened the door and let the person in.

"Hi dad," you heard you dad say.

"Grandpa," you yelled running out of the kitchen.

"Hey kid," he said as you ran into a hug.

"You want to see what I'm giving dad," you whispered to him.

"Sure," he said putting his bag down.

"Dad you start dinner. Grandpa and I will join you in a minute," you said leading your grandpa into the basement.

"What are you up too," dad asked.

"Nothing," you said running into the basement.

"She is a handful," grandpa said.

"You have no idea," dad replied.

You grabbed the frame from its hidden place and handed it to your grandpa once he came downstairs.

"(Y/n) you made this," grandpa asked.

"Yea I have the wound to prove it," you said showing him your hand.

"Let's go help your dad cook dinner," grandpa said handing the frame back.

"Okay," you said putting the frame back in its hiding place.

You both went upstairs and made dinner. After eating you ran back downstairs to get the frame and put in a picture of you and your dad. You ran back upstairs and sat back down at the table. You handed dad the frame. The frame too you about two months to make it it has the marine corps symbols and NCIS symbol on it. With the word "semper fi " on the side.

"You made this," he asked.

"Yea I took forever," you said clearing the table.

"She a special girl," grandpa said.

"Yes she is," you dad said looking at the frame.
