Embarrassed (benedict cumberbatch x reader)

You and your best friend were heading to comic con for one reason and one reason only.

"Benedict Cumberbatch. We are going to met Benedict Cumberbatch," you told your sister who was asking why it was so important.

"Who," she asked.

"He plays Sherlock on the BBC, he was khan in Star Trek, and he is going to be Dr. Strange," you said trying to remind your sister of the actor.

"Ohh bumblebee caterpillar," she said in realization. (This is what my sister calls him)

"Yea sure," you finally said in defeat.

Your best friend (f/n) walked into you house wearing a Sherlock shirt and the famous Sherlock hat.

"Ready to go," she asked.

"Yea," you said straighten your shirt which was one of those dating status shirt which said "single taken , waiting for my high functioning sociopath" with a check mark by the last one.

You two pulled up to comic con and stood in front of the building very excited. You walked in and gave the ticket guy your tickets and walked into the amazing world of nerdom.

"I need a dr. Strange t-shirt," you told (f/n).

"Point me to the anime shit and I won't bite," she said in a monotone.

"It's over there. Sick me girl," you said laughing.

"I will bite you," she replied.

After twenty minute, you noticed that the line to meet Benedict Cumberbatch was starting to form. You searched for (f/n) and once you found her you grabbed her arm and pulled her into the line.

"You better have a good reason for pulling me away from anime," she said angrily.

"Benedict Cumberbæ," you said once you got in line.

You went the first in line but you weren't to far in the back. You were basically jumping up and down. (F/n) grabbed you by the shoulder and calmed you down.

"I know your in love with him but you need to calm down," she said laughing.

You finally got to the front of the line and saw the gift from God. You walked over to him and smiled.

"Hello ladies," Benedict said.

"Your Benedict Cumberbæ," you said with a huge smile.

"Cumberbæ," he asked.

Your face fell when you realized when you realized you called him Cumberbæ.

"You called him Cumberbæ," (f/n) laughed.

"Yea I know. I'm  just gonna go away and die of embarrassment," you said squatting on the floor and hopped away.

"She is still going to want your autograph. And probably your number," (f/n) said with a big smile. "Oh and can you sign my hat."

You were hiding my the anime booth when your friend found you. She sat down next to you and handed a signed picture of Benedict.  You looked at it wand read what he said.

"Hope you don't die, love your Benedict Cumberbæ,"

"Oh my god (f/n) did you read this," you asked her.

"Oh yea, I laughed for a solid five minutes," she said looking at me.

"This was the most embarrassing moment in my life," you said on the brink of tears.

"Hey it's okay and laughed," she replied.

You and (f/n) explored the rest of the con. You two were looking at supernatural stuff when you heard someone talk behind you. You turned and saw Benedict Cumberbatch.

"I'm glad you're okay," he said with a smile.

"Oh my god," you said sinking to the ground.

"Hey don't worry," he said helping you up.

You stood there for what felt like forever but was probably one minute. You snapped back to reality when (f/n) slapped your back.

"Hi," you said.

"Hello," he said laughing. "What's your name?"

"Um..... (Y/n) (l/n)," you finally said once you were once again slapped. "What's your name?"

"You said something stupid," you friend whispered in your ear.

"Right sorry," you laughed.

"It's okay. I actually have to go, but I'll talk to you later," he said taking your hand and kissing it.

"Wait there is no way we can talk," you said after he left.

You turned to your friend who was filming your embarrassing moments.

"What was he talking about," you asked yourself out loud.

"Did I not mention he wrote something on the back," she said nonchalantly.

"What," you asked grabbing the picture and looked on the back.

Holy shit. I have his number. Benedict Cumberbæ gave me his number.

~a year later~
You texted Benedict a while and you became friends. You a friend with a celebrity. You decided to watch a live feed of a Sherlock panel on YouTube.

"What was the greatest experience you had with a fan," someone asked.

"Well it was a year ago and I was waiting to met the fans. One girl came up and she smiled and called me Benedict Cumberbæ," Benedict said.

"Omg," you said out loud with red cheeks.

"I still talk to her and she was really embarrassed. Her friend stood there laughing while she squatted to the floor and hopped away saying she was going to die of embarrassment. I signed a photo for her saying "hope you don't die, love your benedict Cumberbæ,"

"Call her," someone yelled.

He pulled his phone out and dialed my number. I picked up my phone once the phone ringed once.

"Hello, (f/n) so I'm at another comic con," he started.

"Yea I know. You told me before," you said.

"Oh," he said laughing.

"I was telling people how we first met and they wanted me to call you," he laughed.

"Benny am I on speaker," you asked. 

"Maybe," he said with an innocent smile.

"I hate you right now," you said.

"No you don't love," he said.

He took you off speaker and apologized then hung up. You didn't want to hear people asking more questions about you so you turned off the video and grabbed a book. Little did you know that your best friend was confessing his love for you.
