In the Moment (Benedict Cumberbatch X Reader)

"Wake up Benny," you shook your long time boyfriend. 

"No," he replied with a smirk. 

"You wanted to babysit with me Benny so get up," you side getting out go bed. 

"woah, okay I'm up," he said sitting up and pulling you back into bed. 

You pushed him off you and got out of bed again. You walked over to your closet and grabbed a pair of jeans and (your favorite shirt) and put on some converse. 

"Get dressed. We have to be there in forty minutes," you said walking out of the bedroom.

You made yourself and Ben some coffee and waited for him to come out the bedroom. He walked out wearing a pair of jeans and a plain blue shirt and some sneakers. 

"Here, lets go," you said handing him his coffee and grabbing your purse. 

"Yes ma'am," he said with a salute. 

You walked out of the house and to your car. It took about thirty minutes to drive to your(sister/brother)'s house. You hadn't even gotten out of the car when you nieces and nephew ran out to see you. 

"Attack of the munchkins," Benny joked. 

"Shut up," you said getting out of the car. 

"(N/N)," they called out running into your arms. 

"Hey guys," you said picking up the baby. 

"This is (n/n) friend," you told the kids. 

"I'm Ben," he said squatting to their level. 

"Hi Ben," your nephew said hugging ben. 

You were delighted when your nieces and nephew loved Ben. You could tell he cared for them too. Your nephew grabbed Ben's hand and all of you walked into your (sister/brother)'s house. 

"Thank you so much for watching them for a while. You are a life saver," your (sister/brother) said hugging you. 

"No problem," you said hugging them back. 

"Mommy and daddy have to go somewhere for a while. (n/n) and her friend are going to watch you for a while okay," your (sister/brother) told their kids.

"Bye bye mommy and daddy," the kids replied. 

After they left your oldest niece asked to watch Sofia the First. You walked to the tv and turned on Sofia the First. 

"(n/n) can I play with this," your nephew asked holding a bag of pipe cleaners.

"Of course bud," you said putting his on your lap.

You opened the bag and grabbed a pipe cleaner and made him an "power" ring. 

"Here this ring makes you super strong," you told him putting the ring on him. 

"I want one," your eldest niece said running up to you. 

You took out another one and made another ring. You put it on her little finger and her eyes lit up. 

"uncle ben wants once," your nephew said. 

"Does he now," you asked looking at him. 

"Yea I want super strength," he pouted. 

"You made another ring and put it on his finger. He showed your nephew the ring and they went around the house using there "Super power". 

After two hours of playing your (sister/brother) came home and saw everything that was going on. 

"What's this," your (sister/brother) asked when your nephew showed them the ring you made. 

"(n/n) made it for me and now I'm as strong as the hulk," your nephew explained. 

You picked up the baby and spun around with her causing her to laugh uncontrollably. You then handed her to your (sister/brother).

"Benny, its time to go," you called to your now missing boyfriend. 

"How were they," your (sister/brother) asked putting the baby down. 

"Great," you told them. 

Ben final showed up exiting the bathroom. He walked over to you and took your hand. 

"(y/n)," he started to say. 

You turned around and saw him on his knee. joy immediately filled your entire body. 

"I love you and I didn't realize how much until I saw you with these kids. Know I know this isn't the type of ring you are expecting but," he said holding out a pipe cleaner ring. 

"I will get a better ring soon, but I needed you to know I love you so much that I want to spend the rest of my life with you and start a family with you."

You couldn't say a word. Tears filled your eye and all you could do was nod your head. Ben put the pipe cleaner ring on your finger. He stood up and you immediately pressed your lips against his. 

"I don't need any other ring Benny. I love this one," you told him ripping your tears away.
