I jammed my hat down on my head against the cold slushy rain.
I hate cold February showers.
And I hate Valentine's Day.
I was bitterly reminded of the upcoming holiday when I walked into the school to see banners and posters advertising the Sweetheart Valentine's Dance everywhere.
Girls ran around in flurries of pink and red,.
One girls in particular. Polly McPie. The most popular girl at Alison Albert High. She hates my guts (and me). I can assure you,the feeling is mutual.
Anyways, back to the V-day preps.
I haven't always despised Valentine's.
In fact, I used to love it.
But that was a long time ago.
