Darren has a fascination with simply killing people. While he of all people knows life is precious and whatnot, he has a mindset that kind of judges people for their actions, making him feel entitled to "judge" them properly. If confronted about it, he owns up to it but will kill to keep them quiet.

Darren is traditionally attractive. While he has never engaged in school activities, he has the looks of a jock with his tussled blonde hair and bright eyes. He is much more friendly and easy-to approach than his sister, earning him a lot of fans at his school. He typically wears jeans and some sort of sneaker with a long-sleeved shirt or crewneck sweater.

Tired. While Darren is a light-hearted and kind person, he always makes it apparent how exhausting it is to always be nice, especially for his sister's sake and keeping her out of fights. He is normally giggly and talkative, but there are times he will give a distinct eye-roll or huff when he's too exhausted to care anymore. Along with his flip-floppy attitude, he has a short temper. He can hold it far better than Riz or Carson or anyone he knows; once he gets behind doors, he blows up. That's usually when his terrible traits and homocidal plots manifest.

B A C K S T O R Y
Abandoned by their parent(s) at birth, Darren and Riz were found at their apartment alone when the landlord came to claim overdue rent. After being taken in by Social Services, he and Riz lived in an orphanage until they were 8 years old, where they transferred to the foster system. Darren was a very normal child despite Riz's always malicious attitude, and his traits didn't develop until he was twelve and at his third foster family. Going through three houses in four years, Darren finally killed his foster father after the man and Riz got into a violent fight over her wanting to be a girl. He ended up stabbing his foster father to death with a parring knife, even keeping the knife in his "collection" to this day.

Darren hates the innocent type. By no means is he a bad boy, which makes him hate the bad-girl type as well. Though he seems picky, he really only has a spot for the plainly average girls, the ones who often don't think they're special. Those intrigue him.

Darren is a very rough person. He likes the claiming and marking kind of relationships, such as leaving marks or wearing clothing and collars to show possession. He would gladly be the one to be 'claimed' just as much as he would to be the dominant one. As long as he has something, he's content.

O T H E R
✄ "Mirrored Twins" are a subset of identical twins. They come from the same egg and are therefore completely the same, however it's categorized by a very late splitting of the egg, resulting is having identical features and even DNA, fingerprints, etc. These twins do things particularly backwards in characteristic [i.e. Riz is right handed, Darren is a lefty].

✄ The person Darren has considered killing most often is Mila. They met on coincidence multiple times when taking his sister to her therapist, and each time Mila has completely agitated and annoyed him. Though for his sister's sake, he never goes through with it.
