"Well, if thats how it really is then why don't you let anyone know?" Natsu says, his smile fading away.
Man, this guy...
"Agggghh!! Because everyone would just trash the Heartfilia Estate then I would get in trouble and so does my whole family wait, they wouldn't even believe me!" I say still looking at him.
Wait, why would I care if my family gets in trouble? I don't care about them, do I? No.
"Hm, guess you got a point." He says.
I wonder if the guards are gone..
"Hey, weren't there guards chasing you? they're gone." He says like he read my mind.
He turns and leaves.
Of course I follow him I mean, what else am I supposed to do?
"Um, are you gonna stay here?" He asks not turning around.
Such an airhead.
"Well of course, if you let me though if no-" He interrupts me.
"Sure Lucy." He says still not turning back.
After walking down a hallway I realized I wasn't crying and I also realized the pain I had.
The cuts and bruises were burning, im hungry, soaking wet, still in my PJ's which is embarrassing. And I had a headache from crying.
People were probably looking for me and I can't believe I actually left.
And now I know a guy named Natsu Dragneel thats not even human.
I can't take this.
I fall to the floor on my knees, my eyes getting wider by the second.
I hear Natsu's footsteps stop. He turns around.
Im crying.
"Woah! Lucy! are you okay?!" He asks leaning down to see whats wrong.
"Natsu.."
Natsu's POV:
The way Lucy said my name made my heart drop.
She seems so depressed. I wonder how bad it was living there.
"Natsu.. it hurts.." She says while bawling her eyes out.
Im sure everything hurts from all that running and the cuts and bruises she has.
"Where does it hurt?" I ask.
She lifts one hand placing above her heart.
"I can't take it anymore.." She says, slowly lifting her head, her eyes red and tears pouring down her face.
Wow, she's something else.
Out of all the cuts and bruises and rashes and probably aching muscles she says her heart?
She must be really hurting inside.
"Lucy, is there something I can do?" I ask because I don't know what to do now.
She stops crying.
"Im so sorry Natsu. Im wasting your time. Crying over something so stupid..." She says helplessly.
Lucy's POV:
What am I doing? Im so stupi-
"Your not crying over something stupid Lucy. Living there sounds like the worst thing in the world. And plus, Your not wasting any time. I have nothing to do!" He says kinda cheering me up.
"Well, its not the worst thing in the world. Theres a lot of nice people there. Sometimes they would play with me." I say trying not to give him the wrong idea.
"See? Your looking on the bright side. Thats a good start to a happy life Luce!" He says giving a warm smile.
Wow, that smile was so... Wait what am I saying?!
"Yeah.." I say smiling at him back.
"Time to get you to your room!" He exclaims helping me up.
As soon as he opens the door I scream. "KYA! What is that?!" I yell getting behind him.
"Oh, thats just Happy!" He says looking back at me smiling
"My best friend!"
"That blue flying cat is your best friend?" I ask getting out of his back.
"Yeah! I hatched him." He says looking at Happy.
"Aye!" Happy yells.
"IT CAN TALK?!" I say wide mouthed.
Natsu chuckles, "Of course silly!" he says while Happy is flying over his head.
"Oh, ok then... Well, h-hello Happy was it? im Lucy Heartfilia." I say kinda nervous.
"Aye! I know! your the princess i've heard about!" He says with a smile.
"H-Hai..." I say still kind of nervous.
"Don't be nervous Lucy! Happy ain't gonna bite!" Natsu states.
"Right." I say feeling better.
Happy laughs, "Your wierd Lucy!
Says the blue flying cat...
