Chapter 23: The Kyuubi Boy

Tobi: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Pain: Tobi, knock it off, its six months past New Y--'

Hidan: * Throws confetti*

Tobi: But we never wished the fans! *Turns on the fan and yells into it* Happy New Year! 

Hidan: JustDestiel does not own any of the characters except for Yuki! *Continues taking a shower in confetti*

Chapter 22: The Kyuubi Boy 

It looked like prison cells down here

The sound of my footsteps echoed across the narrow hallways of the stone-like "crypt", you could say

Many cells were empty, they lay barren, abandoned almost, I tread with severe caution, not sure why, it seemed like the plausible thing to do 

The air floated, coated in moisture, making me sweat, I made a mental note to carry a hair tie next time

My eyes grew wide in surprise as I spotted a Jinchuuriki, locked up in one of the cells, I carefully walked over to the cell, it was  a woman, her hair held in a loose braid, headband on the stone floor, she lay motionless, her face gaunt and looked thin, she seemed like a beautiful woman, if she weren't here

My heart sank as I walked past her cell, more Jinchuuriki...

They look as if they were tortured, I wanted to look away, but didn't. 

I walked, passing the frail Jinchuuriki, my head felt heavy and the air grew heavier. 

The fact that the Akatsuki were draining them, it made me realize once again that they were the enemy. A lump formed in her throat. 

I walked until I reached the cell I was looking for; it was the one most 'guarded' you could say. Tons of jutsu were used to keep it locked tight. I noticed Naruto with bags around his eyes, he was asleep.

I whispered, loud enough for him to hear "Na-Naruto" I said, feeling uncertain about this whole thing. I had to call him out a few times before he actually opened his eyes, wide in surprise.

"Yuki?" Startled, he blinked "I'm so glad to see you" He said, almost relieved, his face looked even worse when awake, he walked into the light, with some difficulty 

"They're draining the bijuu from you too?" I asked while holding the cell rails 

"Not yet, no, they're waiting for me to get weak enough to start...I've been on almost no food the past days and little to no sleep" He coughed a little, his throat parched I guessed

"I wanted to come find you.." Naruto said, looking down at his hands "The Hokage wouldn't let me, he said you'd be under their control by now, or worse; dead..I'm so sorry"

"It's fine, they haven't done anything to me, I'm fine, they keep me fed and I'm alright; I'm more worried about you" I said, smiling a little at his concern

"What did they do to you? Why haven't you left? Is it even safe for you to be here?" He asked with wide eyes 

"Naruto" I laughed "Too many questions, it's not safe for me to be here, but I do know one thing, I want to get you out of here"

"And then we can leave this place, together.." Naruto said tiredly

Will I be able to? With all these connections I'm making here? With all the bonds I've made with these people the past few months? 

"Yeah..." I said, agreeing with him, I realized I was in a very risky situation "Naruto, I need to get going, they don't know I'm here, I came here to assure you that I'll get you out of here; soon, have faith in me" I fumbled while moving back from his cell
