Lyra loved her freedom. Running through the forest, answering the calls of her family. If she could, she'd never be in human form. It was weak. Pathetic. Her human form did not call out to her, as her true side did.
Elijah, alpha of the Michaels pack, hasn't had freedom to do what he likes in years. Since taking over the pack at the age of twenty one after his parents' death because of civil war between packs, he's been focused on creating a strong pack.
