Laura and Luke[in editing]

Everything's got to change

As I got in the car with my mum she just drove in silence. I don't think she was to pleased about having to withdraw me from school but it was for the best because I could finally have the break and get my life back together.

"Laura, you are going to do your studies and the work that comes with it. you'll be the A+ student that you once were" mum said

"Alright" I said as I was looking out the window at the cars we were passing

After we got home I went into the kitchen and got an apple before going up the stairs and into my room.

I had a door that led out onto a small balcony with a chair. I only went out there to think and think is what I had to do.

I sat there thinking about what I had to do to make myself a better person.

When I went back inside Luke, Jai and Charlotte were all sitting on my bed.

Instead of saying something to them I just walked out of my room and went downstairs.

I then went outside and sat on the patio before singing 'Bonfire Heart' by James Blunt.

"Laura" mum said

"Yeah" I replied

"Your friends want to speak to you" she said

"I don't want to see them mum, I've got to block them out" I said as I looked to the ground holding in my tears

"Okay then darling" mum said as she went back inside

I went back inside a short while after my mum and walked past the living room to see Luke, Jai and Charlotte all laughing about something but I just ignored it and went upstairs into my room.

I pulled out my books and started reading my English poetry book learning stuff.

I then pulled out my maths book before falling asleep in my desk chair.
