Cameron was half asleep on the floor of the girls' dressing room, his back against the sofa. It helped that the room was pretty much empty apart from James and two more crew people since the girls were all at their meet and greet.

"I'll be in Vegas just for two days," James explained to his aunt with whom he was talking on the phone, "Yes, I arrived in the morning and on Wednesday morning I'll fly home," he was pacing but Cameron wasn't really aware in his sleepy state, "I can, yes. So, about the favor I asked-" he kicked Cameron lightly to wake him up, "Really? That's amazing! Tell uncle Ethan I owe him! I'll see you all tomorrow. Bye!"

He hung up the phone and looked at Cameron, "You're not going to believe this!"

"What?" Cameron asked, although he knew it was good news because of James's excitement.

"My uncle said yes!" James answered.

"Yes to lending you the car? Or yes to the other top secret request that Dinah asked you to make?" Cameron knew about it because he had seen Dinah talking to James before the meet and greet. James had no choice but to tell him. But he still hadn't told him what was Dinah's request.

Before James could reply, the door opened and the five girls entered the dressing room, joined also by Lauren's and Dinah's mothers.

"I'm so hungry," Camila whined loudly, "I literally could eat anything right now."

"I've heard of a restaurant here in Vegas that serves antelope, wild boar and venison dishes," Normani smirked, "Do you want to go, Mila?"

"What? No! Eww," Camila made a disgusted face, "Do people actually eat that?"

All the people in the room laughed at the girl's reaction.

"I tried venison once," Lauren sat on the sofa, "It's not that bad."

"Just because you like to eat weird stuff, it doesn't mean it's normal," Camila rolled her eyes playfully and walked to the table where there was some fruit in a bowl.

Sensing what Camila was going to do when she grabbed a banana, Dinah grabbed her mother's arm and sat on the couch that was across from Lauren. When Ally and Normani saw this, they –and their bags- immediately took every single seating space in the dressing room, leaving Camila with just one spot left.

Right next to Lauren.

To any other person watching the scene, the girls were just tired and wanted to sit down. Or in Ally's case, she was so tired that she needed to use two chairs to rest her tiny legs. But for James and Cameron, the scene in front of their eyes was hilarious and they tried hard not to laugh.

After peeling her banana, Camila turned and blushed when she realized she'd have to sit next to Lauren, who was happily chatting with her mother. She knew Dinah would be looking at her because she hadn't missed any opportunities to mention the date since that morning.

"Camila," Clara asked as Camila sat next to Lauren, trying not to be too close. She was probably being paranoid but she didn't need Dinah's teasing, "How come your mom didn't join us this time?"

"Oh, she wanted to join," Camila explained, taking a bite of her banana, "But there's some important stuff at Sofi's school and she had to be there."

"I see," Clara nodded, "She called me when she found out I was coming but I didn't get to ask why she was staying."

"She called you? Why?" Camila asked.
