VIII.Return

After that incident... they returned to the place they rented.
They were all tired but enjoyed their trip.

"Well then, I'm going in" Karma says and waves goodbye
to Achlys as he enters the boys' room. Little did he know..
Achlys remained outside the door..

"Oh what's going on here?" Karma asked the boys.

"Good timing Akabane! We were voting out who's the
   best girl. Looks like Kanzaki's the top." Okajima says.

"Do you like anyone?" Sugino asked him.

"Hm?" Karma took a pause and takes a look at their paper.
No votes for Achlys, only one. "(Who..?)" Karma wondered.
"I don't know.. Okuda-san..?" Karma says with a playful smile.

Achlys, who unintentionally heard it all..
..felt shocked and speechless.

"Huh? Interesting choice.. here we thought you liked
   Achlys-san, after all, she's doing all she can to make
   you love her back" Maehara raised a brow for Karma's
unexpected answer.

All the boys nodded in agreement to Maehara's statement.
Karma paused and fell silent for a minute.
It was as if he had only just come to realize it.
"(Doing all she can.. huh?)"

"Karma-kun, don't you like Ouma-san?" Nagisa became
curious as well. He thought Karma liked Achlys all along.

"Achlys? No.. I don't like her" Karma tilted his head.

Although he wasn't done talking, Achlys could no longer
take in his words and stomps back to the girls' room.

"I love her, she's insanely good in everything" Karma laughed
cheerfully.

"Then why did you say you liked Okuda-san?!" Isogai asked.

"Well you know, maybe I can get free poisons to use so I
   can kill Terasaka or something" Karma says with his playful
voice.

"EH?!" Maehara and Nagisa exclaimed together.

Meanwhile..

"Now this is good.. this is the perfect timing to be talking
   about it.." Nakamura smiles mischievously.

"About what Nakamura-san?" Hinano asks with a curious
face.

"About guys! Boys! Love! Don't tell me you haven't
   liked anyone so far" Nakamura winks at them.

When Achlys entered the room, they greeted her.
But her facial expression seemed scary and dangerous
that the girls decided to not annoy her.

"......................Uh" all the girls fell silent.

"Ouma-san, Ouma-san! Wait, I can call you "Achlys-san" right?"
Kayano approached her with her usual cheerful aura and said so.

"It's fine." Achlys answered.

"Achlys-san, why do you like Akabane Karma-kun?" Kanzaki sat
next to her and asked with a smile.

"I don't know" Achlys still feels bitter about what she overheard
that she lied about her answer.

"Anyway Kanzaki!! You're the class idol you know!
   Got your eyes on any guy yet? Tell us!" Yada teases Kanzaki
and then all the other girls began tickling Kanzaki.
