Kill Me With Love (Karma Akabane)

XXI.Concerns

When Karma and Achlys returned to the hotel,
they noticed how everyone seemed to be extra tired
or way too exhausted.

"What's up guys? You all seem so drained" Nagisa
greeted them.

"Hmm.. why is it so hot in here.. I feel so dizzy-"
Okajima was talking but then his nose suddenly began to
bleed.

Karma and the others began to worry and some began to
panic. A few of their classmates fainted and lost consciousness.

"This is.." Achlys realized that they were set up. She silently
goes to the corner and stares at the drink from morning, which was
left behind. While everyone else was panicking, she secretly drunk
the contents of the drink.. poisoning herself.

Finally, Karasuma received a call from a stranger.
Just as they expected, it was the culprit.
Revealing that the students only have a few hours left
before the virus takes away their lives, the culprit proposed a deal.

If Nagisa delivers Korosensei's body to the given location,
the will trade for him in exchange of the cure for the virus.

Karasuma had to make a decision..

And in the very end, the healthy students who weren't poisoned
went with Nagisa to steal the cure instead.
Takebayashi and Okuda managed to reduce the pain for their
classmates and stayed behind to take care of them.

Now, Ritsu guides them to the given location.

"We need to climb up this cliff in order to come in unnoticed!"
Cheerfully, Ritsu declared.

"EHH!?!?" The students exclaimed as they take a look at the tall
cliff.

"Well, this is a perfect chance to show me the fruits of your
training under me. I did make you climb cliffs." Karasuma
says.

The class cheers with Karasuma as they were all filled with
determination. Everyone began climbing.. however.. Achlys
was stopped by Karma for some reason.

He grabbed her gently by her shoulder. "Wait."

Achlys faced him and saw that he had an angry look on his face.
She became nervous inside thinking that Karma might've noticed
that she drunk the poison herself. "What's wrong?" still, her face
remains emotionless as she asks him.

"You can't." With a serious look on his face, Karma tells her.

"(Did he figure out that I drank it? But I was sure no one was
looking.. and the symptoms aren't showing just yet. How could
he possibly know?)" Achlys worries inside her head. "Why?" she
asked with a curious face.

"Just don't! Don't even ask. Stay behind!" Karma seems frustrated
and his cheeks are slightly red. He raises his voice but behind his way of
speaking, was his hidden concern.

"Why?! We don't have much time, Karma." His sudden intrusion
somehow began to frustrate Achlys and she questions him despite being
told not to. "(Does he know?)"

Karma sighs and looks into her eyes. "Look. If you want to climb
up with that skirt, it's fine! But do it after me. Be the last one
to climb. I know you'll catch up in no time. I'll be there to take
your hand. Do you understand?" He spoke fast and sounded
a bit angry.. but his words finally made sense to Achlys that she
fell speechless and became embarrassed.

"Karasuma-sensei! The two lovebirds are having a love quarrel!"
Kurahashi reports to Karasuma with high spirits while climbing the cliff.
