Kill Me With Love (Karma Akabane)

XVII.Yours

When Nagisa and the others went to study in the library within
the main campus, they encountered 4 of the five virtuosos, all
of them except Gakushu.

The virtuosos took notice of Nagisa's group and approached
them, telling them to move as Nagisa and his friends were
sitting on their seats.

In the end, Araki Teppei proposes a bet. The class that makes
the most of the top scores will get to make the losing class do
whatever they want. Nagisa and his friends accepted the bet.

The virtuosos went back to report to Gakushu Asano.

"Well, it's not that bad." Gakushu says. "(Although I intended
   to have a bet with Achlys.. maybe this can do.)"

Gakushu went on and proceeded to explain that their bet should
have proper rules. The winner will get to hand down one command.

Having his plan done in his mind, Gakushu decided to give Achlys
a call later on.. and his call was during a bad timing.

At Achlys'..

Achlys was still on her way home from school with Karma.
They weren't talking.. however, the ringing sound of her
phone made the two of them stop walking.

Karma turns around to look at her, knowing that it was
her's. "Hm?"

"Gakushu..?" Achlys muttered to herself, her voice was
low that Karma didn't hear her at all. She looks into Karma's
eyes and he looks at her as if he was also waiting for her
to answer the call.

"Hello, Achlys? It is I." Gakushu spoke in a soft tone of voice
as she answered his call.

"I know." Achlys responded coldly.

"Still cold as ever. Behind your cheerful appearance in our
   class, you are cold. Especially to me, now. I've always wondered
   why. When we're alone, you were always that way. I'm kind of
   hurt." Gakushu says.

Achlys stays silent and doesn't respond to his words..

"Achlys? Ah. My apologies." Gakushu sounded the same, but
he wore a disappointed look on his face as he 'apologized'.
"I was just thinking about you. Your dear E-Class made a
  bet with Araki and the others, challenging us A-Class. 
  How about a bet with ME, this time?" Gakushu smirked
as he talked through the phone.

"What are you talking about?" Achlys asked.

"That if they lose, YOU will have to spill everything
  to me. I know something's up in E-Class, and I can't
  wait to know it." Gakushu laughs after telling her about
his intentions.

"I don't want to-" Achlys speaks, but was cut off.

"And if they by 'luck'.. win, you can ask me to do only
  one thing for you. Don't you have faith in your new
  friends? It's just a game."

"I do. But not in you." Achlys says and was about to
drop his call when he started laughing off.

"How harsh..!" Although he was laughing, Gakushu
seemed to be somewhat not true to his feelings.

"..I am not going to be yours, Gakushu." Achlys says
and finally ended the call.

Gakushu, on the other hand, dropped his smile.
"Not 'mine'.. you say.. don't lie to yourself."
He speaks in a serious tone of voice.
