Namjoon walked you back to the entrance of your kingdom, seeing nobody there that would notice him, and saying your goodbyes before going back to the castle. Your new little pet, who's name was Saja, meaning lion in Korean, was sitting proudly on your shoulder.

The villagers were all staring at you strangely as if you had grown another head, so you quickly put him in one of the pockets on your dress. Once entering into the common area of the castle, you were greeted by your father. "Daughter, where have you been?" your father questioned. "I was out at the cliff," you answered.

"We were supposed to speak about your marriage plans today." "Marriage plans?" you asked. "I have arranged for you to get married to Prince Jacob from the kingdom just south of ours. He's willing to pay half of all his riches to marry you, my daughter. You should feel honored."

"Are you crazy? I am not property. You can not sell me to some man I know nothing of," you shouted. "You dare raise your voice at me, girl?" your father yelled back, lifting a hand up to you.

The necklace that lay around your neck lit up a bright white color, a powerful burst of energy shooting out from it, sending your father backwards and onto the hard stone below him. He looked at you with terrified eyes. "W-witch! Witch!" he stuttered, pointing at you.

"Guards, take her to the oubliette. Tomorrow she shall join the others whom await their deaths." Your eyes shot open with shock.

"You can't be serious!" you shouted. The clanking metal of the guards' armor against the stone flooring echoed down the hallway, continuing to get louder. You made a break for the door, and out of the castle. "Don't let her escape!" you heard the guard yell. Saja fell from the pocket in your dress, tumbling away. You turned around to take him up in your grasp, but quickly turned back around to keep running as you had witnessed the foot of one of the shoulders crushing your beloved little pet.

That's when the thunderous sound of horse hooves pounding against the earth's soil came galloping towards you. The elderly women whom you gave your scarf to watched with horrified eyes, and hurriedly made her way over.

The blur of her figure went behind you, and looking back, you briefly saw the woman hold out her hands in front of the massive, one ton black stallion, and the horse shrieked, rearing up.

A tiny smile found its way to your lips, but disappeared as another horse came bounding out from behind the other. "100 pieces of gold to whoever catches the Princess!" the guards yelled. You quickened your pace, and now the villagers that were once on your side were attempting to tackle and catch you.

You ran through the forest, dodging trees, jumping over fallen logs, thorns gashing the tender flesh around your arms. You were starting to near the edge of the cliff, stopping right before you could topple over and fall to the bottom where the waves waited to pull you down into the deep unknown.

The crowd of villagers and guards on horses didn't hault their actions, only shortening the distance. You backed up a little, your heel slipping off the edge, and you lost your balance. The feeling you were experiencing was that of your heart sinking into your stomach as the view of crashing waves became closer, and you clamped your eyes shut. The sound deafening.

You felt a strong pair of arms grip tightly around your back as your face collided with tough muscle. The air changed, the feeling of falling becoming more like flying. You opened your eyes, seeing nothing but the white cotton fabric of a shirt.

Tilting your head, you saw Namjoon's soft tan skin radiating in the shine of the sunset, lilac hair being thrown around by the wind. Burying your face into his chest, you held him tighter than you ever had before.
