Kai's P.O.V.

It was still dark outside when the alarm on my phone went off. I lazily reached over towards the device that was blaring a song, and pressed the home button. 5:30 am. (y/n) shifted in her sleep as I sat up from the covers, the warmth enticing me to lie back down. The tapping of claws followed me into the bathroom, and our dog stood on his hind legs, cold paws pressing against my calves. "Down," I whispered, not wanting to wake (y/n), and because of my slight headache.

He did so, leaving the bathroom and jumping on to (y/n)'s side of the bed where he then rested beside her. I turned the shower on and discarded my clothes that reeked of liquor, cigarettes, and girl's perfume. The water quickly warmed my skin as I stepped into the shower. My fingers combing through my hair. Memories from last night came in quick blurry flashes. Drinking and laughing.

And then I remembered how stupid it was of me to let that girl do what she did, and then tell (y/n) it wasn't a big deal. Last night the boys and I, along with my girlfriend, went out to have some fun at a local bar before we had to leave for tour. Some girl had been throwing herself all over me, and I didn't exactly tell her to stop. And to make it even worse, I ignored her wishes of not drinking too much and being responsible since we did have to leave early in the morning, which caused her to leave. I slammed my fist against the ceramic tile, causing the glass of the shower to shake.

"Jongin, what are you doing?" (y/n) mumbled as she walked into the bathroom, obviously annoyed. I was desperate to apologize to her, so I blurted it out. "(y/n), I am so sorry about last night. I wasn't myself, but that's no excuse for my behavior. I shouldn't have been flirting with that girl." She sighed, and crossed her arms. "Did you sleep with her?" Another memory of last night's happenings played through my head, but none of them being of that girl. Just partying with the boys.

"You did, didn't you?" (y/n) quavered as tears made her eyes shine. "No, no. Of course not. I love you, (y/n), and only you. I would never do that." My heart was tearing itself apart, eyes beginning to fog up. "Come here," she said quietly, standing at the entrance of our walk in shower. (y/n) stood on the tips of her toes and placed a meaningful kiss on my lips. "Now hurry up. We gotta go eat breakfast with the boys before you all leave," she half smiled.

Your P.O.V.

I rested my head against Jongin's chest, his arm draped over my shoulder. Instead of eating, I just watched, since the pain of all my best friends leaving made me not so hungry. They were jittery from coffee and the thought of traveling to play shows for the first time internationally. "You know, (y/n), there is an upside to this," Xiumin smiled. I looked at him from across the table. "What would that be?" "Souvenirs! Gifts from a bunch of different states across North America."

"You don't have to get me anything. Any money you guys make is yours, and you should spend it on yourselves." All of them let out a small laugh before Baekhyun spoke. "You know we're going to do it anyways, right?" "Yep," I sighed.

I followed the boys through the airport by Jongin's side after going through security. The sound of suitcases rolling on the tile floor and conversations occupied the massive airport. The rain outside started to pour, making this whole thing even more upsetting.

"(y/n), would you like something to eat or drink?" Kyungsoo asked. "I'm good. Thanks though."
"You haven't eaten at all this morning. Please eat something," he begged. I sighed and folded my arms over my chest. "Fine."

He grabbed ahold of my arm and dragged me over, away from the boys to a McDonalds, placing me in front of the counter. "Good morning. What can I get you?" the cashier asked, but I said nothing. Kyungsoo ran a hand through his messy hair before answering for me.

We sat around the airport for an hour talking about the sights in different states. And by we, I mean them. "The plane leaving for Los Angeles will be departing in 30 minutes. Please arrive at Gate C to board the plane at this time," said the lady over the intercom. My heart began to sink way down into the pit of my stomach.

Jongin's P.O.V.

My heart ached as I stood from the seat. (y/n) took my hand in hers, giving me a smile of sadness, and we all began the walk to Gate C. There was a line of about 20 people there, so I took this as an opportunity to say goodbye to (y/n). Her big (y/c/e) eyes stared back into mine. Every time I looked at her, images of last night kept playing over and over in my head. I regretted it so much, even though she forgave me.

"I'm really going to miss you," (y/n) spoke with tears building up in her eyes. I pulled (y/n) into my chest, giving her the biggest, most meaningful hug. "I'm going to miss you too, baby." I pressed my lips to her forehead. Her sniffles muffled by my thick coat. "Last call for those leaving for Los Angeles. Please arrive at Gate C to board the plane at this time."

"(y/n)?" She lifted her head up, cheeks red and stained with hurt. "Yeah?" "I love you." "I love you too, Jongin." (y/n) gave me one last sweet and passionate kiss before I had to let go. My body felt so cold without her. I was desperate for her warmth and love. Before passing through the point where I wouldn't be able to see her again for almost 2 months, I glanced back at (y/n). She looked so broken. Alone as her love left her.

"Gate C is now closed. Departure will be in 5 minutes."
