In this chapter, Travis mentions his sexuality in a way to make it sounds like it defines him. I personally think that your sexuality does not define you, and that you can be whoever the fuck you want to be. You'll find out why he says things like that later on in the book! Don't hate me xx

"Why do you, of all people, keep coming back to the bookstore to talk to me."
"We're friends, aren't we?"
