The next few days at college were quite busy for me…May be God did not want me to think about him or see him …OR PERHAPS------- HE HAD DIFFERENT PLANS… !!!!
I had such a big reason to go to the canteen… “MONISH”… but no time …!!
I pitied myself and the irony of my life…
I could not help but wonder if he would forget me…

I left for college and made up my mind to talk to him that day, COME WHAT MAY…

I made an excuse to my colleagues that I was having a headache and passed on the task of treating patients to them…
As the clock struck 12 PM, I waited for few minutes to elapse and then told my colleague – “Hey.. I will just go and get tea from the canteen… Should I get something for you?”
I was just pretending to be nice to them…
She refused and just said “Come by 12:30..”
I nodded and set off to my mission…!!!!!
I looked around but Monish was not there…
I thought of waiting till 12:25 PM…
It was way too awkward to stand there alone but that was the only option I had as of then…
I pretended to text and then for a while pretended to be on the call…
I had lost hope when suddenly someone patted me on the back…
It was Monish…
I could not really believe my eyes...
I literally pinched myself to confirm that it wasn't a dream..
“Hey Rimsha… How have you been ??????”
“I have been good Dr…. How’s life??? You have had night duty again???”
“Oh yaaa… How did you make out???”
“Your eyes say it all Dr. Monish…”
“Ohh so Miss Rimsha, what else do my eyes say???”
“I guess they are asking me where was I lost?”
“Haha… yeah yeah… so where were you on this *different planet*?”
“I was a bit busy with clinics and studies…”
“Ohooo…so Dr. Rimsha is a busy doc…eh?”
“Not really … Don’t embarrass me…Anyways sorry but I’ll have to get back to the department now…”
“Oh yaaa.. I totally forgot… Even I should get going.. Call up if you get time from your busy schedule… Byee”…Dr. Monish taunted me, turned away his face…and walked away!!!!
