You look ahead of you and decide where to go. You decide to run into the woods, there are plenty of places to hide there and you would definitely hear someone coming.
The leaves whip past your face as run through the trees, your feet pounding on the crunchy soil.
You stop and look back to the house in the distance, you see a shadow step through the light of the back door.
It's walking towards you.
You turn back and continue running scouring the ground for a place to hide.
Soon enough you find a large tree which you stop behind, your breaths heavy as you strain to listen for any unusual sounds.
You hear nothing, you've lost him.
You step out from behind the tree ready to leave the forest and come face to face with a masked figure.
You turn and run, straining to get away from the man chasing you.
Suddenly you trip and fall on a tree root. You roll onto your back and look up. The masked figure looms above you letting out a laugh before he thrusts his knife into you.
