You decide not to listen to your senses, you are probably overreacting. You shakily ask the man where he is taking you to, he tells you that he is from the next town, and is taking you to the police station there.
His words relieve you, even though there is still a twinge of doubt in your mind. Bringing your knees up to your chest you hug them while starring out the window. You feel sick thinking of what could have happened to you back at the house, how it all could have ended so quickly.
You think of your parents hoping that you can get to the police station in time to warn them before they come home. You stare out the window watching the dark, solemn trees flash past the window.
Soon lights begin to appear and houses replace the trees that flashed past the cars window.
Eventually you see the police station come in sight. You have never been so happy in your life.
