Chapter 3:School

Carson's pov

Charlie is amazing! She has the voice of an angel, she is as beautiful as ever, is great with kids, and more.

I'm just walking to the bus stop when I see her standing there in the same out fit from this morning and looks like she's thinking really hard. "Hey wanna ride with me" I asked leaning on my skate board. She looked up from her trance and smiled. "Sure" she replied. She dropped her lime green long board and we skated off to school. "Charlie" I looked over at her for a second then back at the sidewalk in front of me. "Yeah" she said doing the same "I... I" I stuttered "i really like you and I wanted to know if you liked me back" I said

"Wow" she said in shock "I do I really have ever since I was 8" she exclaimed "well can you make me a promise?" I asked "sure" she said with a smile "promise me if I never ask you out you'll stay single until 8th grade?" I asked with hope in my eyes "you mean grade 8?" She said in a duh tone "oh ya your Canadian" I said
"I promise" she said holding out her pinky finger

We linked our pinkys together and rid like that all the way to school


During PE

Charlie's pov


This was the only class me and Carson weren't together this whole day we've been acting like a couple without the kissing we hugged once or twice but we always hold hands. Carson will always put his arm around me when he gets the chance it's cute how protective he is over me. Today for gym we were playing basket ball I'm not the best but I can really dunk. "CHARLIE HEADS UP!!" Someone yelled. And within I second I was hit in the face with a fully pumped up basket ball. I fell to the ground in pain and everything was blurry.

And then the room went black.


Carson's pov


"Carson loiters to the nurses office please Carson loiters" the principle said over the announcements. I cringed when she said loiters like for god sakes it's Lueders. Everyone looked at me as I got up and walked to the nurses office.

When I got there I saw Charlie passed out on the bed in pain. I ran to the side of the bed to make sure she was ok. I put her hand on mine and with that she fluttered her eyes open and smiled at the sight of me. I smiled back when her face turned to confusion and pain. " what happened??" She said in her beautiful voice. " to be honest I have no idea" I replied with a laugh. "Oh! Your awake" the nurse cheered as she pushed me out of the way. She pulled out her clipboard and fired questions at Charlie. Charlie answered as many as possible. "Ok that's all keep this ice pack on till the end of the day you two may go" she shooed us out and we walked to our lockers hand in hand with my head on hers

"Charlie?" I asked "ya" she said looking up at me with concern. "So there's this Christmas dance coming up next month and I need a date and I'm guessing you do too so do you wanna go with me?" I asked looking down at her since she was up to my ear

"Of course I'll go with you Carson" she said with a huge smile showing off her dimples. "HEY! We can be dimple buddy's!!" I said "YA! Let's take a selfie" she said pulling out an iPhone 5C silver with a cow case. She went to camera and we flashed our dimples at the phone as she took the picture.

Charlie's pov

"What's your number?" I asked giving him my phone. He gave me his and this is what I put


Name: my dimple bestie❤️😘❤️

Company: Nutella inc.

And so on.....

I snapped a picture of me and finished my contact

Carson gave me my phone back and I saw the name
CARSON IS SO HOT!!!!!!😍😍😍😍😍

He's such an idiot sometimes

"Hey Carson come here" I said making him lean close to me. I kissed his cheek and ran away down the hall leaving him in shock

It was 3:09 and the bell rang for us to go home so I got on my long board and left
