(Reaching the end of this story soon guys. Hope you enjoy the ending)

Gajeel stalked toward José, fighting and pushing past every one of the guards who were trying to cover for the leader. "I'm about done with this José." He growled swiping another male out of his way.

"Gajeel." Lily called hastily after him. "This isn't a time to be rash. Levy is alive."

"And almost taken from me." The prince retorted, letting his red eyes look toward his companion and best friend for a short moment.

A sharp pain pierced Gajeel's side and he grunted in pain.

"Gajeel!" An urgent voice called as the male fell to his knees with a loud thud.

Chuckling darkly, Jose stepped behind the male and bent down to his ear. "Not only will I strip your father of his throne and you of your title. But I will take your little friend as my prize."

"Levy." Gajeel gasped out trying to keep his fluttering eyes from shutting. The pain soon gave way to sleep and the male barely felt the hands that clutched to his shoulder trying to shake him awake.

Gajeel lurched forward, his chin hitting his chest as his muscles flexed from trying to allow the rest of his torso and arms to go with him. He grunted softly pulling at his wrists that were tied around the column. The coolness of the marble sinking into his bare back.

Something had woken him from his dream.

A scream.

That's what it was.

"Finally awake Prince?" José chuckled darkly, stepping from the shadows to smirk.

Gajeel's piercing red eyes raised only to lower with his head. A small groan escaping his lips as he did. "Fuck off José. Haven't you caused enough of my pain taking my mother from us?" He lifted his head again to glare at the man before him. "I let you turn me against my father for too long." He growled.

The male smirked and grabbed a fistful of Gajeel's pitch black mane, lifting the prince's head till their eyes met. "You see the funny thing is Gajeel. Is I'm about to do it again." He chuckled darkly letting the hair go to see his head slam back into his chest.

Gajeel couldn't help but laugh a little to himself. "Try your best." He responded. His voice heavy with the desire for sleep and blood loss.

The sound of heels clicking against the floor forced Gajeel's eyes to raise until the person collapsed on the floor beside him. "Gajeel." An airy voice whispered pressing a palm gently against the males face. "It's okay. You're gonna be okay." Levy whispered repeatedly as if trying to tell herself rather than him.

"Levy how did you get in here?" The male grunted pressing his cheek against her palm. "Ya need to leave 'fore they hurt ya." His head lolling forward as a dizzy spell flashed over in front his eyes.

Hazel eyes filled with determination met tired red ones. "No. No. He. He told me..." She took a deep breath before continuing. "He told me that if I stayed in your place. That's he'd let you live."

"No." Gajeel grunted quietly in response.

"You could go to another kingdom. Lucy will help you I'm......."

"No Mcgarden." He growled. "I. I would rather die a million times. Than run away and watch him have you." The male continued looking behind Levy to see José smirking. "That's what he wants." He grunted. "To watch you be with him."

Levy let her hand drop to her lap. Eyes lowering to look down at her nails and the tattered orange dress that laid beneath.

"I can't watch you die Gajeel." Her lip quivered slightly as she suddenly leaned forward and hugged the males shoulder tightly. Lips gently brushing over her ear before whispering hurried words. "Malrak vur agantal, yth agantal wil qe. Sia rumag ui sia itov vur sia itov ui sia tobor. Si jihai dout itov vur majak wux sia tobor. Tenpiswo vur jaka, wux nomag relgr ve dout memamosal."*

Gajeel's eyes turned to a sharp glare as the woman before him gently pulled away. "Where did..." The male was cut off as soft lips pressed against his own.

A soft smile crossed the woman's lips and she slowly began to stand. "I heard you that night. Didn't get it until you left me in that retched room with your journal."

Shaking his head, Gajeel tugged against the ropes. "Leave her out of this José. This is our fight. Just let her go."

The princes enemy stepped forward wrapping an arm around the small woman's shoulders, causing her to cringe slightly. "Let her go? My little pet. Oh no." He smirked raising his left hand and stroking the soft blue hair. "A little blue haired beauty like her will provide me with such wonderful entertainment."

Suddenly his hand tightened in the woman's hair. A soft yelp escaping lips as her hands flew to her scalp. "Come little one. We have a king to dethrone." He chuckled pulling the woman by her hair. "Goodbye Prince." He spat.

"Levy." Gajeel groaned letting his head loll forward. For the second time today, sleep overtook the black haired prince.
