Mickey woke up to Liam touching his face. He opens his eyes slowly, scrunching his face at the small child.

"The fuck, little man?"

"Hungry..." Liam mumbles, pointing to his belly. Mickey sits up, feeling nausea hit him so he laid back down, rubbing his stomach.

"Give me a minute..."

Liam looked at him, puzzled. "Sick?" Mickey was the only one Liam would really ever talk to. It made him feel special and his love for the child grow.

Mickey sighs, shaking his head. "You could say that..." He mumbles, rubbing the sleep from his eyes. He sits up again, slowly this time and feels a little better.

"Let's go find you some food." Mickey suggests, standing up. Liam grabs his hand immediately and Mickey couldn't help but smile as he holds his hand back and walks to the kitchen with him. He picks up the coco baby and sets him on the counter. He keeps a hand on his knee as he looks around, making sure he didn't fall. He grabs some apple cinnamon oatmeal he finds.

He held it out for Liam to look out. "What do ya think? Want it?" Liam nods a little, a hint of a smile on his lips. Mickey smiles back, unable to help it as he puts the oatmeal and water in a bowl and into the microwave. He stands in front of Liam as they wait for it to finish.

"Are you excited for Ian to come back?" Liam asked him, looking up at him.

Mickey was shocked by the full sentence and question. Mickey shuts his open mouth and clears his throat. "It's complicated..."

"Why?" Liam asked, tilting his bed to the side.

Mickey sighs softy, shaking his head. "We're not together anymore, kid."

"Why?"

Mickey groans a little, frowning at him. "Because grown up things happened and we broke up."

"Get together?"

Mickey shakes his head, sighing softly. "It's not that easy..."

Liam shakes his head back at him, grabbing his arms. "Is."

Mickey narrows his eyes at him. "It's not, smart ass."

Liam narrows his eyes back. "Is."

Mickey groans, shaking his head and pulled away from the child when the microwave went off. "Really, it's not." He grumbles as he comes back, mixing the oatmeal.

Liam watches him intently. "Is."

Mickey looks up at him from the bowl. He thinks about what Liam was saying. Sure, he could take Ian back... God he wanted to but he couldn't let him off that easily. He was a total dick... But it was really his disorder... He fucked some random guy... But that was because they needed money and his disorder... God... Could he really be better?

He picks Liam up and puts him in a chair and sets the oatmeal in front of him. He watched the kid eat, feeling more nauseous than hungry.

He was good with kids he liked... Like Liam. He knew Ian was amazing with children, raising his siblings. If he had this baby... He knew he wouldn't be alone. He would have Ian, the Gallagher bunch and his sister... But, no one knew except his sister and Fiona. He wanted it to stay that way.

He didn't want anyone to know he was pregnant... Especially Ian. He knew Ian would say the right things, mean them, and convince Mickey to keep the baby with him.

Mickey shakes his head and sighs softly. He rests his forehead on his hand and relaxed, thinking about it.

He could go get one before Ian arrived tomorrow... He could go after someone comes for Liam.

He didn't know if he wanted kids in the first place. He didn't want to end up like his father. It would be better for everyone if Ian didn't know... And that if he just disappeared... Maybe he should. Sure, Mandy would miss him... Liam would until his favorite show came on. He looks over at Liam, watching him eat. He couldn't help but love the boy.

He didn't want to feel love for the thing inside him. He didn't want to feel anything for it. He knew once he did... He wouldn't be able to go through with the abortion...
