in the end,
nothing even mattered.
everything was gone.the words, the memories,
the pages, the people,
reverted into stardust--became what they
once were.we were fussing
over nothing,
thinking we could
make a lasting
difference,
inside the shattered
snowglobe.nothing you can tell me,
will truly change existence.tell me, anyway.
i want to see it.
the arrow in your heart,
bleeding velveteen
dreams.take another puff,
give another swig,
laugh another life,
cry another life,
dance! dance! dance!
can't you hear it?
the music that's all around!close your eyes real tight,
get ready to escape.
