Write her paragraphs about nothing at all .
Call her when she's half asleep and tell her about your beliefs .
Tell her about your smile and laughs , and about your grief and tears .
Come to her window in the middle of the night and ask her to sneak out .
Say you can't be with her forever and please do explain why .
Kiss her in every beautiful place you can take her to
so that she can never go back to them without tasting you like blood in her mouth .
Then remind her that she can't fall in love with you and when you'll leave ,
she'll understand why storms are named after people .
She doesn't believe in forever , but she hopes you would stick for a while .
She broke her rules for you because she's not ready to lose you .
And countless times a day , she has to force herself to stop thinking about you .
Because she knows you will destroy her in the most beautiful way .
And yet , to her , you were not a mistake and loving you was not in vain .
For she is a poet and you are a walking metaphor .
But of course she would never say any of that to you .
She won't tell you about the constant meltdowns and the endless tears .
As she writes about thoughts on her mind that never reached her lips .
For she is a writer , and the writer never speaks .
