deer crossing
look out!
i don't care
i've got somewhere to be
cold plate with tear-stained beef
and upside down smiles from my wife
(hope her nose blocks the scent)
a little boy wondering where pops went
(he thinks that i hide under his bed)
deer crossing
look out!
she's a minx,
but she sure knows her way around
she's an unstoppable void;
sucking me into her delicious trap
tightening pants and righteous adultery
(i'm sure moses wouldn't pass her away)
deer crossing
look out!
god!
her mouth
and her dripping honey
god!
her sounds
and her swollen mounds
deer crossing
look out!
she sinks her jaws into my heart
she rips me apart with more and more
she stuffs my oxygen into her pocket
teasing, "come and get, you desperate fool,"
while chewing on the bible and spitting out condemnation
deer crossing deer crossing
please look out!
i wear my guilt around my collar
and i tug and tug, but it gets too tight
before i know it, i'm gasping and sputtering
and she stole my fucking oxygen and now, i'm dying
deer crossing deer crossing deer crossing
look out! look out! look out!
what will the stone read?
what will they say?
she looks like my angel
and i can't stay away
small lungs
and dying cells
i need to go
i need to run
that will be the last
and i will be better
deer crossing
look ou -
bump!
crash!
wrecked!
dead!
you're a murderer
what the fuck?
there were plenty of cautions
and multiple signs
don't you ever listen, kid?
brush off the carcass and move on
i don't care i don't care about it
it shouldn't have ran away from home
if i did, i would be in the house
with my saccharine lies and spicy shame
(my stomach is rumbling)
oh fuck!
i don't even have insurance
(i wish that was me instead)
