Cameron's P.O.V.

I paced around my room.

I sighed and called Violet.

"Hey cutie" she said.

"Hey, um what are you doing?" I asked.

"Nothing laying down" she said.

"Do you wanna go out?" I asked.

"Yeah, I know where to go" she said.

"Alright I'll meet you at the McDonald's near my house" I said.

"Okay" she said and hanged up.

It was 11 in the night.

My parents are probably sleeping.

I got out the window and carefully climbed down.

When I arrived at McDonald's, I waited for Violet.

Minutes later she arrived.

And we left.

We went downtown and saw food trucks.

"Let's get something to eat!" she squealed and pulled me to the trucks.

I smiled at the fact that she wasn't hurting herself.

But soon my smile faded, I had to tell her.

We ordered giant burritos and sat on the street.

I took a bite and it tasted so good.

"Mmm, if my mom saw me doing this she would faint" I said.

"Doing what?" she said.

"Eating from food trucks on the streets at 11 in the night" I said.

"Exaggerated" she mumbled.

"I heard that. She's my mom, you know" I said.

"Okay? And she still insults me, well she tries. What other nickname has she given me?" she asked.

"Um, emo" I said.

And she laughed.

"What the hell?" she said.

"Speaking about her, I um. She's gonna make me go out with Heather" I said.

And she spit out her drink from her mouth.

"You're shitting me, right?" she said and I shook my head no.

"I knew something was odd. Heather is fucking slut" she said and looked down.

I grabbed her hand but she snatched it away.

And she got up.

"Do what your mom says. She is threatening me and my family and I'm not gonna let her hurt them. It's best if we just don't talk anymore. You got out with Heather and even marry her and do your life and I'll do my life without you" she said.

I felt my eyes water.

"Bye Cameron" she whispered.

"Violet" I got up and grabbed her hand.

"This can't end like this" I said, a tear coming out of my eye.

"I'm sorry but don't tell me. Tell your mom" she said and left.

Violet's P.O.V.

I ran home, crying.

If Cameron really loved me he would have fought for me.
