A month had passed since Team Hellboy had been called to the Vatican. They had decided to call the woman simply Angel. The first week had been rough. After her trip ro the rooftop, she had curled up on a large, squashy recliner in the library and had refused to move. Liz had coaxed food into her, and somehow had been able to convince her to shower. But other than the basic necessities of life,  Angel didn't do much.

"It's like she's heartbroken." Johann said as they sat down to a meeting, the topic being Angel's lack if the will to thrive.

"It certainly seems so. All she does is cry and stay curled in that armchair." Abe put in.

"Least she's not as bad as you were, Blue." Hellboy grunted. Abe shot him a glare.

"Boys," Liz said, "If it's heartbreak then she's gonna wallow in her tears. The only thing we can do is to try to cheer her up."

"How do you suppose we do that? What cheers up an angel?" Johann asked.

"I dont know about angels, but I do know what cheers a girl up." Liz said. At the stares of all the men in the room, she explained, " Some good old fashioned retail therapy."

"What?" Hellboy asked.

Liz rolled her eyes, "Look, she's been borrowing my clothes for the past month, and while she can totally rock black, she's not my size at all. I have a feeling that it's going to be a while before we figure this whole mess out, if ever; so she's gonna need some clothes of her own. She cant borrow mine for the rest of her life."

And with that, everyone agreed that Liz would take Angel out shopping.
