LEO'S GOLD

"Who Me?  No, I didn't see you yesterday." said Max   "Are you sure, you almost knock me over with your horse.  You look dead in your face.  Well if it wasn't you, either you have a twin or you're hiding something. "said Priscila with a wondering glance    "Sorry, it wasn't me." he repeated as he started to ride away.     "Do, worry about him, he had trouble sleeping last night, this why he's being kind of rude." explained Rick        "Whatever, just remember, I don't trust strangers," said Max as she sat on her front step to smoke a cigarette.   

Rick and Max road away, Priscila thought to herself," Somethings wrong, that freckle  face liar is hiding something."     Then Officer Roberts receives a call from the fire department.  The told him that the fire was set after someone took the beams to the stables out.  They just wanted it to, collapses,  but instead, it also caught fire."      Officer Roberts walked up to Priscila to talk to her what he just found out.     "Excuse,  Miss Penny,  I need to talk to you about something.  Did your family had any enemies?" he asked     "No, my parents were good folks, they never bother anyone.  Why do you ask?'she asked     

"Well someone, took beams out of the stable, when it tumbled down, somehow it caught on fire.  I'm assigned to your case." said the officer  "What do you mean you assigned to my case.   Are you telling me that someone deliberately killed my parents?" she asked with tears in her eyes.      "Sorry, but yes, did your parents had any problems with anyone, that you know?" he continued     "Wait, the two developers, came by here a couple of days ago.  They wanted to buy the families farm.    My parents laugh at their offer then send them away. You know it's strange, I've seen one of them ride by me quickly yesterday.   He was in such a rush that his  horse almost ran me over." explained   Priscila       

"Really,  that doesn't sound right." said the officer,   "You think that doesn't sound right, he denied to be the one on the horse." she said  "Oh, really, that's something.  Do you happen to know where they stay at?" asked the Officer   

"I'm sure they're staying at the hotel down the road." said Priscila     "Well, I'm going to check this out.   I'll be back later and inform you if I do find out anything." said Officer Roberts   "Thank you,  but I think they went into the woods.   You won't find them at the hotel." she said  "Well I sit in my car until they come out of the woods." he said as he went back into his car and sat down.  Priscila wondered, "These tow fucker, wanted our farm.  That's not right, if you hurt my parents, I will get them."

Now  Rick and Max were with their detector pacing the woods grounds.   "Hey, look over here Max, the detector is going crazy when I stand on this spot." said Rick   "Oh shit, this is where we were digging," said Max as he grabbed a shovel and began digging.    Now Leo was up very early that day. When he heard something like a digging sound over his home, he quickly went out to find out what it was.    He opened the magical door, then step out of his tree home.   Rick and Max were about twenty feet from his door.  He became invisible until he reached the tree that was above them.  

"These two stupid humans want my gold, do they.   Let's see how loud it takes you to dig a hole," said Leo as he watched every move they made.    Now Max dug and dug, he got the hole pretty deep.   He stepped out of the hole,  "Rick you dig for a while, I need to rest a bit." said Max    "Sure" said Rick as he put the equipment down and went to grab the shovel.   When he was about to step into the hole, he noticed that there wasn't any hole at all.  Just two little shovel marks. 

 "Max, you're that fucken weak, this is all you've dug?" asked Rick   "What the hell are you talking about.  That hole is deep, look I even got a blister from digging." said Max as he was drinking his water    "Dude, come over here and look for yourself." said Rick    Max walked over to Rick and when he looked the hole that he took two hours digging was gone.  It was as though he never dug a hole at all.   

"What the hell is this.   Rick, you saw me digging for two hours.  What the hell,  you cover the hole didn't you?"  asked Max who was upset that he did all that work for nothing.  "I didn't cover anything.  Look just forget, go sit down.  I'll make the hole again." said Rick   "Rick, what's going on here, you know I did dig the hole." said Max   "I know, now I digging it,  let's see what happens." said Rick as he continued to dig 

Now Leo was up in the tree laughing and waiting to cover the hole again.  Now, Rick dug for about two hours, then he became tired.   "Look it's getting late, we going to have to keep digging tomorrow, help me out of this hole," said Rick as he took his hand out, then Max grabbed it and help him out of the hole.    They both stood there and admired the two feet deep hole.  "Rick, how much deeper do we have to make  it?"Max asked    "Don't know, I guess we have to dig until the shovel hits the copper." said Rick   "Are you sure it's copper down there?" asked Max   "I'm not sure, it's either copper or gold.   I really wish is gold, it's worth more." said Rick   "Shit, we're going to be rich.   Even better we don't have to share it with no one else." said Max     

Then something happened,  the dirt started to fly into the air like a sandstorm.   Rick and Max covered their eyes,  "What the hell is going on?" asked Max   "Don't know, just cover your eyes, if the dirt gets in it will burn like hell." said Rick    They lead back to back until the dirt storm was over.    When the notice no more dirt smacking them on the face.  They decided to open their eyes.   "Hell, no!   Hell No! Rick open your eyes, look!" screamed Max while kicking the dirt piss off.  

"What the hell!  Shit no! What the hell is going on here?" said Rick   "It looks like the dirt wants to stay on the ground.  I don't think we should be digging here.   This shit that happened is not normal." said Max   "We're going to get to the bottom of that soil if it's the last thing I do.  Let's get out of here, we'll start again tomorrow."  said Rick    "What if it happens again?" asked Max   "Then we dig somewhere else.  Don't worry we'll figure it out." said Rick as they got on the horse and headed to the hotel.    While on the horse Max heard a giggle up in the tree.   When he glanced up, he saw Leo.   Leo took out his middle finger, then disappeared.  Max wiped his eyes, then looked again and Leo was gone.    He than glance at Rick, wondering if he should tell him what he saw or was it the sun that had him seeing things.    So he decided to not say anything.

They both made out of the woods and Priscila noticed them.
