Chapter 31

•last day of school•

*Madi's POV*

Today is the last day of school and I'm happy because that means my birthday is almost here and I have only one more year of high school to go.

Abby is going on vacation right after school ends so I'm with Jace.

I've been staying at Jace's a lot recently because my mom has been off her rocker lately.

She will come home late and drunk I hope it's just that she's missing my dad but I just stay at Jace's and Lily stays in Matts room or we all stay in matts room.

•after school•

"Hey babe"  Jace says as I get into his car

"Hey"

I give him a kiss and he drives to his house.

"So it's summer before senior year"

"Yup then college maybe"

"Why maybe"

"I don't know what I want to do"

"You'll figure it out and I'll help you"

"You mean you just distracting me by kissing me"

"Ya basically"

I roll my eyes and we walk into his house.

"Hey mom"

"Hi"

We walk to his room and lay on the bed.

"I have a new obsession" I say

"What or who"

"Halsey" (she is literally life)

"I've heard of her"

"You've heard of her"

"Ya"

I take out my phone and put on 'Young God' (my favorite song)

I start dancing and singing. I pull have up and make him dance with me. I wrap my arms around his neck and sing in his ear

"If you want to go to heaven you should fuck me tonight"

"Not tonight but a night soon"

We continued to dance.

"We should go to the movies"

"And see what"

"A movie"

"No really"

"Come on let's go"

He grabs my hand pulls me to his car.

We get to the movies and look at the movies that are showing.

"Let's see... Suicide squad"

"Alright"

We get out tickets then popcorn and sit in seats. I rest my head on his shoulder and he wraps his arm around me.

We get back to Jace's and go back to his room. I jump on his bed and jumps on top of me. He kisses me.
