"Are we interrupting something?"Kai said smugly, smirking towards our direction, Elija directly behind him matching his expression.
I removed my hand from Brontë's face. "Shut up, Kai," I said, grunting in his direction before looking back at Kendal, who had turned slightly red.
"Ray was right," Elija spoke up chuckling, I glared at him while Brontë gave him a confused look.
"We'll be over by the weights if you need us," they winked, "It was nice seeing you again, Brontë," they both said in unison, waving before heading back towards the weights.
It suddenly felt awkward and tense between the both of us.
"I've got to get back home.." she said, looking back up now at me.
"Oh right, okay... can I get your number?" It came out of my mouth before I could stop it. She blushed and handed me her phone for me to type in my number. After adding my number, I gave her phone back.
"See you soon, Hunter," she said, smiling before walking out towards the exit of the gym.
I don't know what she's doing to me.
But I'm very quickly falling for her.
