Farkle

When I got home, I spent sometime brooding and just staring at my right hand, which Smackle held not too long ago was this it? Am I in love with her?

The next day was Thursday. After Science, I headed out of the room, when I suddenly saw Smackle and shouted her name.

"Farkle, what are you doing here?" She asked. I wanted to say sorry, but for what right? She'll just think that I'm assuming something.

"I just wanted to hang out with you." I didn't know what to say. I'm insane, I just have to try. I know I'm still in love with Riley, but c'mon there's a zero percent possibility that we can have a relationship. And this is the only way to move on.

"Alright, should we go to the cafeteria?" She asked and I nodded.

We ended up sitting on a small bench in the hallway.

Okay, I know it's completely unrealistic to tell her that I like her. But Smackle is such a nice girl, she's like a nerd Riley. Okay maybe not. Besides she had a crush on me since then. We haven't spent a lot of time together, but there's a chance that we could have a relationship and it works, right? I just need to try. After a few minutes, Smackle finally spoke up.

"I don't really know how to say this. But..." She looked at me, silently willing her to finish talking and then came out. "I still like you." When Riley shouted my name, she is heading on our way.

Riley

I saw Smackle and Farkle in the hallway. "Farkle!" I shouted, I think they're talking about something important.

"You forgot your wallet." Handing him his wallet.

"Thanks, Riles." He said, it gets a little awkward because the place was silent.

"Have you been here all this time?" I asked.

"Nope, just a while ago," Smackle answered, they seemed a bit quiet.

"How about we go get some lunch? I know you're hungry." Okay, I'm not comfortable in this conversation.

"Sure, you go ahead. And we'll just follow." Farkle said, I nodded.

I headed to the cafeteria, alone. I'm sitting here by myself. To be honest I'm thinking about what Farkle told me this morning, about getting a girlfriend.

Text Messages...

Farkle: Do I need to get a girlfriend? (8:30 am)

Riley: You're in love? Aren't you?

Farkle: Kinda. 💗

Riley: Hmmm... To whom?

Farkle: None of your business, young lady. What should I do?

Riley: Ask her out on a date.

Farkle: I'm kinda nervous. What if she rejects me?

Riley: C'mon that girl is really LUCKY to have you. And if you got rejected, it means you deserve someone better.

END OF FLASHBACK...

I'm kinda jealous because Farkle and I used to do things together. Like studying at Topanga's, playing video games at his house, etc.. And he's always there my side, but now this girl and I have to share in his time. Whoever that girl is, she's so lucky to have Farkle.
