Surprise!

Farkle

The Party ended, It was a quick five-minute drive. We went into our ski lodge bedroom. I can't believe it, my dreams came true. Riley's mine! I carried her over my shoulder, and I pushed her onto the bed and kissed her. And came close to her.

My trembling hands unzipping her white gown at the back. I couldn't take my eyes away, she chuckled. Well, the rest is private and I'd rather not explain.

The next morning...

I woke up at 9:30, Riley wasn't beside me. I headed to the kitchen to check if she was there, and guess what? I'm right. I entered the kitchen and it smells like bacon and ham. I held her waist, while she's finishing up our breakfast.

"This is a good start for us, don't you think?" I began, she slowly turned around. She smacked me on the arm with my hand. "Stop being so clingy, Mr. Minkus." She chuckled.

"Being with you is a such a good start."

She put the breakfast on the table, "So, do you have any plans for this day?" She asked. I sat on the chair, "You mean going home?" I asked. She raised her eyebrow.

"That's not what I meant. I mean like going out on a date, or watch a movie. You know something like that."

"Anything you wanna do. I'm already happy spending more time with you."

"That's one of the reasons to love you. How about we go to a park? Like what we always do."

"Sure, anything for you."

As soon as we finished our breakfast, I gave her a hug even though I was all sweaty. I laughed and told her that I will do anything to make her happy.

"Wait for me here, while I take a shower, okay? I won't be long." She said.

"How about I take a shower with you?" I smirked and she laughed and shook.

I nodded and smiled. While waiting, I got a call from Maya. I answered it.

Farkle: Hello?

Maya: Oh my gosh! You wouldn't believe what happened.

Farkle: What?

Maya: Lucas and I are getting married! Is Riley there?

Farkle: Congrats, Maya! Riley's taking a shower.

Maya: Oh, just say hi for me. And by the way, sorry for ruining your honeymoon.

Farkle: It's fine, just call us whenever you want.

Maya: Thanks, Farkle. I hope you'll enjoy your honeymoon. Bye!

Lucas and Maya are the coolest couples in the world, Oh. Riley and I? Riley and I are the cutest couples in the universe. Riley showed up, freshly shower and hair still damp. I kinda blanked out for a second.

"Hey! What're you thinking?" Riley said as soon as she got out of the bathroom.

"Nothing." I protested and shook my head. "By the way, Maya has a good news to share with you," I added.

"What news?"

"Lucas and Maya are getting married!"

"Oh my gosh! Finally, They realized that they're really meant for each other." She smirked at me in amusement.

"Yeah. I'll just take a shower, okay?" I began to walk out until she grabbed my wrist.

"I love you." She wrapped my arms around me carefully and breathed in my scent. Then she pulled away. "Just remember that, okay?" Then she smiled, I nodded and smiled.

~~ SKI LODGE, LIVING ROOM ~~

Sitting on the couch, I looked at the poem Riley wrote a few months back. I started with the words "I love you forever". I was extremely happy she made the poem.

"Sweetie, I'm here."Riley's voice rang.

He turned his head towards her. She looked as beautiful as ever.

"Great!"

She giggled. "I have it, Farkle!" she cried, waving her most treasured item in her hand. "Here you go!" I moved my eyes from the tiny box to my lovely wife who was smiling happily.

I smiled in return. "What did you put inside?"

"You really can't tell?" She asked, her round eyes growing wider. I shook my head.

Was I supposed to know or something?

"It's a ring you gave me for my tenth birthday!" She opened it before pulling out the exact same ring.

"That's the thing you treasured the most?" It couldn't be. The ring was nothing special. It was just an infinity ring. My mom said she would like it, so I got it for her with the allowance my mom gave me every week. I didn't think she likes it that much.
