Clover Village is inspired by a beautiful place that my husband and I visited during our honeymoon trip called Kitchen Kettle Village in Pennsylvania. I loved the place and the people and more than anything I loved the bunch of jam flavors they sell there.
It stayed in my mind as the perfect place for a story after so many years. Houses with wide porches and potted flowers. The feeling of a proud and tight community. I needed some lovely characters, and that is how the Garnett siblings came to mind.
How does the music of this story sound? I guess that the best way to describe it is 'a little bit country and a little bit rock n' roll.
