Dressing Up

We sit there for a around an hour till the sun starts to set.
Serena stands up and the sun reflects on her crystal blue eyes.
"I think we should get going, it's getting dark."

I stand up and we start walking back to mine.
"So Sere, did you have a nice time?" I ask. "No."
What?! She just said no, didn't she.
"I had an amazing time."
Few, I actually thought she didn't have a good time.
Serena giggles at my expression on my face.
"You really scared me, you know." "Ash, any time with you is great."
I blush from the complement.
"Do you really mean that." "Of course, why would I lie to you."
We arrive at my house.
"Oh wait, I forgot to tell my mom that you would have to stay for a while longer." I exclaim. "It's ok Ash, your mom and I already sorted that out."
Huh, they did?
"You did?" "Yes, when you went to devour your breakfast, I had a word with your mom."
Ohhhh, so that's why Serena was in the living room for a few minutes.
"Oh, ok. Anyway, let's go get some shut eye, I'm exhausted." "Ok."
I open the door and get attacked by my mom.
"How was your date you two?" My mom asks. "DATE?!" Me and Serena both shout, our faces going bright red.
"Mom it wasn't a date, it was just a shopping day." I explain. "If you say so." "I'm going to get changed, see you in a minute Sere."
I put Serena's bags in my bedroom and then get changed for bed.
When I come out I see Serena standing there with her bags in her hands.
"Ash, I want to try some clothes on, can you be my judge please."
She did that adorable please face again, and that face is hard to say no too.
"Ok." "YAY! Thanks Ash, I'll be out in a minute."
I decide to play some games on my phone while I wait for Serena.
I hear the door creak open and look up.
Serena was wearing my clothes.
Ok, not my ACTUAL clothes, but she must of found the same clothes that I bought at the mall and brought them herself.
"Do you like it Ash?"
Serena stuck out her tongue out.

(Ignore the background.)

"Oh yer, you look great Sere."
I didn't know what to say, I'm still shocked by the fact she actually brought my clothes just to show me.
"Oh ok, there really comfy, no wonder you like your ones."
She rushes back into the bathroom and I hear her rustling around it her bags.
She then rushes back out with her hands cupped together.
She walks over to me.
"Close your eyes and hold your hands out." "Uh, ok."
I was actually scared about what Serena was going to do, but I close my eyes and hold my hands out anyway.
I feel something touch my palms.
I open my eyes and see a sapphire key ring in the shape of a lizard.
"I-Is this for me?" I ask. "Yep, I wanted to give you something for helping me. Sorry if you don't like it."
She looks at the floor.
I push her face up so she is looking at me.
"Sere, I love it."
Her frown instantly turns into a smile.
I grab my phone and check the time.
8:47.
"I'm getting tired, can we go to bed now?" I ask. "Of course Ash, I'm going to go get changed into my pyjamas." "Ok, see you in a minute."
She grabs her pyjamas and walks into the bathroom.
I walk over to the mattress, flop onto it and close my eyes.
After a few minutes I feel something lay next to me.
I open my eyes to see Serena.
"Goodnight Ash." She whispers. "Night Sere."
I wrap my arms around her again and fall into a deep sleep.
