LIAM:

As the doctor and nurse walked in, Liam helped you move back on the bed and climbed on the bed, sitting behind you. “Looks like we’re having a baby,” she smiled, positioning herself between your legs, “Y/N, when you feel the pressure building again, go ahead and push with it.” You took a breath and pushed, feeling the baby move down. “It hurts Li,” you whimpered, feeling the pressure increasing. “I know it does sweetheart,” he kissed your forehead and squeezed your hands, “But you’re right there, gentle pushes. You’re almost done.” You held Liam’s hands tightly, as you bore down again, this time focusing on his voice whispering small encouragements in your ear. You cried out as your body stretched around the baby’s head and gasped as the head slid out. You lent back against him, breathing coming out in pants. “Good job Y/N, one more big push for the shoulders, then your baby will be here,” the doctor said. With another push and whimper, the baby slipped into the doctor’s hands. The room went silent, as she quickly cut the cord and handed the baby over to the nurse beside her. Your heart begun beating faster, your breathing coming out in panic gasps. “My baby,” you whispered, finding it hard to breath. Liam who had been feeling scared all day, was starting to feel worst. He looked up and watched the nurse, gently rubbing the baby, when suddenly a loud cry filled the room. “It’s a girl,” she said, wrapping your baby in a pink blanket and handing her over to you. "Although she’s early and small, she’s breathing on her own and we’ll check on her later," the nurse said. As you held your baby in your arms, you couldn’t help but cry. Liam kissed your temple, his own tears falling down his cheeks, before gently running his finger along the baby’s cheek. “Our baby girl,” you whispered. “Hi sweet pea,” Liam said, voice raspy through his tears, “You scared us, but so happy you’re here and alright.” “Amelia Claire, oh my, she’s here,” you said looking up at Liam, tears falling now. “I know beautiful, and she’s all ours,” he said, kissing you softly, before placing a kiss on her small forehead.

LOUIS:

"He’s coming, I can feel him right-" you moaned. You squatted down and whimpered as the pressure grew. Louis quickly pressed the button for the doctor and knelt beside you, rubbing your back. “Mum,” he said helplessly. Jay jumped off the bed and knelt by you and Louis. Just then the doctor walked in, “Ready to meet your baby boy,” she said, putting on some gloves. You put your hands on the floor, so you were on your hands and knees. “Listen to your body Y/N. Push when you need to,” she explained, kneeling down as well. You took a breath and pushed down. “I can’t do it like this. It’s not working,” you panted. “Want to try the stool?” she suggested, grabbing it. You nodded and Louis lifted you up onto it, kneeling behind you to keep you steady. He kissed your temple, letting you know that he was there for you. The doctor positioned herself to check how close the baby was. “No no, don’t touch me,” you moaned. “Jay, I want you- ow arghh,” you whimpered as your muscles stretched around the baby’s head. The doctor moved to the side as Jay took her spot. “Prefect love, little pushes for me now. Pant like in those classes you did,” she encouraged, “Lou do it with her,” she whispered to him. Louis begun to pant with you, as you closed your eyes tightly, the feeling to push getting stronger. You wanted to hit him, but had to keep pushing. You started to panic as the feeling of the baby crowning becoming more intense. “Deep breath Y/N and a few more pushes and your little boy will be here,” Jay said. You took a shaky breath and pushed down, whimpering as you felt his head slid out. “Prefect, now the shoulders,” she encouraged, as the doctor watched on carefully. You pushed again and a sharp cry escaping your throat as the baby slid out. “Oh he is a big boy,” Jay said teary, as she lifted her grandson up to your chest. You tried to catch your breath as you held your baby against your body. Within seconds, you heard a ear piercing cry. “You’re here, Lou he’s here,” you cried, tears freely falling. Louis placed his hand on the baby’s back. “I’m so proud of you,” he kissed you softly, “and thank you mum.” You looked down at your baby boy as he opened his eyes. “You have your daddy’s eyes,” you whispered. “My little man; Noah Tomlinson.”
