Chapter 9 - shop

I looked at myself in the mirror, I was wearing.... (Not bothered to describe look above 😂 )
"Are you done yet?!" I heard Mila shout from outside,
"Hang on!" I shouted back, I opened the curtain to the changing room,
"Is this ok for the battle rounds?" I asked twirling,
"You look amazing" Cassie said grinning,
"Hey Cassie look!" Mila said tapping me and Cassie really fast,
"What?" I said stubbornly,
"Look!" She said pointing at some boys, I squinted and if it was Chris and Ethan, they both came running over,
"You look amazing" Chris said winking,
"What are you doing here, stalking me?!" I said glaring at him,
"Oh me and Ethan were just hanging around" Chris said shrugging, he looked at our pile of shopping bags,
"You guys seemed to do a lot of shopping," he said grinning,
"Well I was shopping for the live battle round clothes" I said explaining,
"And what's the Olympus Bag for? You got the new camera?" He said looking into the bag,
"Uhh yeah" I said nervously,
"Hmm ok, I'll see you on Monday then" he said,
"See you" I said waving, he gave a wave before walking away,
"Phew thank god he didn't find out about his present" I said collapsing on the seat,
"Yeah yeah, you definitely like him" Cassie said giggling,
"Says you" I puffed out
"Get changed, we need to find some accessories for you" Mila said,
"Alright" I rushed back into the changing room and changed back, I purchased all the clothes and we walked out of the store carrying all the bags of shopping on my arms.
"Wait wait selfie" Cassie said grabbing her phone out of her bag and taking a photo,
"Are you kidding?" I said,
"Come on let go back to my house" I said walking out of the shopping mall,I called my mom and she came ten minutes later, we opened the boot and shoved all our stuff inside,
"Sooo" Mila said as we sat in the car in silence,
"Why did you buy that Olympus camera when you don't even do photography" Mila said,
"Present" I shrugged,
"For who?" Cassie said with a smirk, I opened my mouth to speak,
"I KNOW I KNOW ITS FOR CHRIS RIGHT?!" Mila shouted out loud,
"Maybe" I said pressing my lips together,
"It is, why did you spend so much money on a gift?" Cassie said shaking me,
"Ok ok geez calm down, my dad got a voucher and all I had to do was pay 20 dollars" I said pushing her off me,
"Oooo spending so much money on a boy eyyy" Cassie sake grinning,
"Grow up girls" I laughed, the car stopped and I carried all the shopping bags back up to my room, I put the camera box on my desk careful not to drop it.
"Alright who wants to watch Leia sing?!" Mila said holding up the remote,
"Oh no"I grunted,Mila and Cassie ran downstairs and dived towards the sofa switching on the TV,
"JUST IN TIME" Cassie and Mila said squealing, it was playing Chris singing A team. I sat down next to them and stared at the TV the whole time watching Chris sing was amazing, his voice was better than I thought,
"Your turning bright red Leia" Mila said giggling,
"No I'm not" I said quickly hiding my face,
"Yeah right" Cassie said.
"HEY LOOK ITS YOU NEXT" Cassie shouted,
"Ugh" I groaned burying my face in a pillow,
"I sound horrible" I moaned,
"No you sound amazing" Mila said excitedly, I groaned again, I peeked over finally it was gone,
"Ah thank god it's gone" I said with a smile, I realised the battle rounds were up next..... What if I don't make it?! What it Amy was better?! What if she's right?! No, don't believe what she said, focus Leia, focus.
