I paced around the room hands behind my head, Bella and Alexa were looking at me like I was a psycho, "Leia please calm down its ok" Bella said looking at me, "No it's not, oh my god what I have done? I'm so selfish, Australia chose-" "No they didn't Leia, they chose who they think a winner would be" Bella said getting up, "How could I ever let a boy make me turn into a crazy wreck?" I said, "It's ok Leia, all you have to worry about is choosing a final song" Alexa said getting up and coming towards me, "I can't not with my mind on-" "You heard her, focus on choosing a song" a voice said, I spun around and Chris, Madisyn and Grace were there, "Chris" I whispered, he looked me in the eye, "You heard Alexa choose a meaningful song that everyone is going to remember" Chris said grinning, I walked towards him and looked at him, "I'm sorry" I whispered, Chris chuckled as I stared at him in confusion, "Sorry for what?! You have the voice, you have the looks, you deserved it, please stop doubting yourself Leia" he said, "You have worked so hard to get here, gone through so much and still handle the pressure, you really deserve it, you really do" Chris said before pausing, "Princess Leia" he said smirking, "Come here" he held his arms out and embraced me. He used one hand to tilt my chin up so I was looking up at him directly into those soft brown eyes. "Do your best Leia, and remember I love you" he whispered, he placed one more sweet kiss on my lips before smiling and walking out of the rehearsal room. Never would I know that would be the last time I would ever kiss him.

My hands started to shake as Bella came off stage and gave me a smile. I was wearing a simple red dress nothing too fancy,

I smoothed out my dress one more time, I walked onto the stage the lights dimming as I walked on. One lonely microphone stood in the centre of the stage, I walked up to it and took a deep breath as the music started.
"What would I do without your smart mouth, Drawing me in and you kicking me out, You got my head spinning, no kidding, I can't pin you down"
I caught Chris in the audience along with Grace and Madisyn, he gave me a bright smile as I sang,
"My head's under water but I'm breathing fine, Your crazy and I'm out of my mind, Cause all of me loves all of you, Love your curves and all your edges, All your perfect imperfections, Give your all to me, I'll give my all to you, Your my end and my beginning, Even when I loose I'm winning, Cause I give you all of me"
My mom looked at me this time she had tears streaming down her face,

A loud applause came from the audience as I finished. I gave a little curtsy before walking off, "What do we do now?" Alexa asked, "Let people choose who's out winner" I said to her as we sat on the sofa. I walked towards the door brining a jacket along with me, "Where are you going?" Bella asked, "To find Chris" I replied before turning the door knob, I opened the door and Chris was standing there, "Chris" I said, "Great job out there, seriously I was touched" he joked putting a hand to his heart, "Yeah right" I scoffed rolling my eyes, "Anyways, come here" he said holding his arms out, I was about to step forward when I heard a shout from the other end of the hallway, "HEY! what are you doing backstage? only our top three can be here!" a security guard shouted, "I might have snuck in" Chris laughed, "I'll see you after the show, love you" he said before dashing off running away from the security guard. I sat back down on the sofa with Bella and Alexa, let's just say the 20 minutes we waited were the longest 20 minutes in my life. "Alexa, Bella and Leia please may you go to the stage?" The stage director said as he opened the door for us, "Right this is it, I'm so glad us three made it so far and may the best win" Bella said embracing me and Alexa, we all walked together onto the stage, "Give it up for your top three! Alexa, Bella and Leia!" The announcer shouted as we walked onto the stage, "So all the votes are in, now let's see who Australia chose" the announcer said, my heart started to beat faster, my hands started to sweat, "In third place, we have" the announcer paused as he opened and envelope, "Leia Thompson" I smiled gratefully and stood aside, deep down there was this disappointment but yet at the same time I was happy, I was grateful about how far I've come, it might be the end of the voice kids but it's a beginning of a career. "The winner of the voice kids 2014 is...." The announcer paused and look down at the card, "ALEXA CURTIS!" He shouted, the stage lights shine brighter and it started raining confetti, I ran over to Alexa and engulfed her in a big hug, "Congrats Lexa, you deserve it!" I smiled giving her a pat on the back. After all the tears all the congratulations all the cheering we finally got off the stage and back into our normal clothes. I ran out the backstage door looking for Chris but I couldn't see him instead my mom stood there hands open, I ran and she hugged me, "I am so proud of you Leia" my mom cried squeezing my tighter, I smiled and tried to find Chris but I couldn't. Everyone came up to me and congratulated me but I still couldn't see Chris. He promised he'd see me after the show, he promised.
