"What?" She shouted.

"Well, he is my friend and he really needs the money. However, if you're not comfortable working with him then I'll just find another one."

"It's alright. I can handle working with Malfoy." She said and ended the call.

Now she really needs to forget the grudge with Malfoy if she doesn't want another problem in her life.

"What happened?" Ginny asked in confusion.

"Oh, Katherine got me a temporary assistant."

"Good. Who is it?"

She sighed,"Draco Malfoy."

"Hermione! Harry's home!"

"I'm coming!" She replied.

When she arrived at the living room, she saw Harry sitting in a sofa looking tired, but smiling.

"Hey 'mione. I heard you went shopping today." He greeted.

"Yeah, we did." She returned her smile.

"Good. Now I don't have to go with Ginny every time she goes shopping." He commented."

"Hey, I heard that!" Ginny shouted as she entered the living room.

They all laughed.

"Let's go. Dinner's ready." Ginny said.

"Yeah, Hermione. Let's eat. You know, Ginny is great at cooking like her mum." Harry complemented her wife and she returned a smile.

"Okay, I'm coming." Hermione said as they all hurried to the dining area.

"Harry, what do you know about Malfoy?" Hermione asked in the middle of their conversation.

"Well, I haven't seen him lately but as far as I know, he tried to enter as an auror, now he's jobless because he is having difficulties in getting a job due to his past status." Harry explained.

"Well, he is not jobless now." Hermione whispered but Harry heard her very clearly.

"What do you mean?" Harry asked in confusion.

"Well, my assistant, Katherine somehow knows Malfoy. And since, she and her... husband are going to a... trip. She took Malfoy to be my assistant now."

"Really? Well it's okay I guess. I had a truce with Malfoy years ago when he tried to enter as an auror. But we couldn't let him in because he needed to pass some more qualifications."

Hermione sighed in relief. "At least he is not a bad guy anymore."

Hermione woke up suddenly remembering that she has many paper works left in her office and she hasn't finished even a single one.

Quickly, she got dressed and went downstairs.

"Hi Gin. Where's Harry?"

"He went early this morning. Come let's eat."

"Okay." Hermione said.
She ate fast and then bid farewell to her friend.

When she arrived at her office, it was empty. Meaning, Malfoy wasn't here yet. So she started doing her work.
She became so focused that she didn't hear the door opened.

"Hey there, Granger." Hermione was shocked to hear his voice. She looked up and saw Malfoy smirking at her.

"It's actually Weasley now." Hermione corrected him. Yet, she felt like crying again.

"I prefer Granger." Malfoy said.

"Whatever Malfoy." Hermione spat." Just do your work and I'll do mine"

"Fine. Ms. Bossy know-it-all Granger."

"Could you please shut up Malfoy? Or else I will hex you to oblivion." Hermione shouted.

"Really? What hex? Isn't Weaselbee the master of hexes and not you?" Malfoy continued so Hermione just shot him with a silencing spell, non-verbally.

Malfoy tried to speak but no words came out.

This time, Hermione smirked.
