Tears roll as Hermione sat on her bed trying to understand everything. She can’t live like this anymore. So she decided to play fire with fire.

She took out her wand and focused on using the obliviate charm on herself.

If Draco thought it would help him move on, then maybe it can also help her. There was no other sounds rather than her own breathing but nevertheless, she found her concentration.

She forgot that if you play fire with fire, you’ll get burnt.

“Draco.”

“What the hell do you want Theodore Nott? I already forgave you for your slytherin mischiefs. “ He said annoyed.

“Why did you not forgive her? I thought you already moved on?” Theo spat towards him as he lead on the solid wall behind him.

“I have. But I see no reason why I should forgive her.” Draco answered.

“Do you not see? Or are you avoiding it? “His friend backfired towards him.
Draco kept silent.

“If you truly moved on, you’ll accept everything that happened, and you’ll be able to forgive her. Theo added.

After a while, Draco said,” Tell me how you can forgive someone who ruined your life completely.”

“You have to decide what you want with your life!” Ginny exclaimed towards her friend.

Fortunately, Ginny arrived in time to stop Hermione from obliviating herself.

“I want him, Gin.” She sobbed.

“Then fight for him. This is not the Hermione Granger I once knew. The Hermione Granger I knew will not be wasting her time crying over some stupid boy.” She shouted.

“Then you don’t know me at all since you haven’t seen me cry deeply for Ron. Ask Harry if you want!” She replied.

Silence.

“Look, um I’m sorry but it just pains me to see you like this. If I hadn’t stop you from obliviating yourself, you would totally regret what you did.” Ginny said calmly.

“But, I want to move on.”

“Acceptance is the first step to moving on, not forgetting.” Her friend said as a matter of fact.

“So, tell me. What do you want? Are you going to fight for him? Or are you going to give up? Just tell me and I will help you in whatever choice you make.”

“Um. I don’t know.” Hermione confessed.

“It’s just that my heart wants to move on because it’s already too painful but my brain says that I should keep going because sooner or later, the pain will be worth it. I don’t know which to follow. Even my heart and my brain contradict each other just because of a man.” Hermione added.

“It’s time to not just think but to do something as well. You just have to take the risk.”
