“Ginny, here’s your pumpkin juice.” She handed the bottle to Ginny.

“Thanks. You look a bit down, what happened?” Her friend asked after she took a long sip.

“He’s here.” She whispered.

“Of course he’s here. That’s why I wanted you to go to the kitchen.” Ginny said coolly leaving Hermione’s mouth open wide.

“What!?!” She hissed.

“I thought you needed to sort things out. It’s not every day you could meet with each other and chat.”

“Why did you do that Ginny?!?” She exclaimed.

“Just trying to help.”

“Well, I guess I should thank you for it. Because now I know the answer to my questions.” She whispered but Ginny heard her pretty well.

“What do you mean by that?”
So she told Ginny everything that happened in the kitchen.

“I’m sorry for my master, Miss Granger.” She remembered Kary telling her after Draco left.

“It’s okay. Wait, did you say ‘my master’?” And this is where all the questions entered. Luckily, Kary was there to answer it.

“Yes, Draco Malfoy is Kary’s master. Well, of course Kary haven’t been able to serve his master since the war.” The elf answered politely.

“What do you mean by that, Kary?”

“Master Malfoy ordered Kary to work here in the kitchen after the war. And for nine years, he only ordered one thing to Kary.”

This is one of the reasons why she loves him. Even though he could have saved a lot of trouble by letting the house elf clean the house, cook the food, and do other things, he just ordered Kary to work in the Hogwart’s kitchen. She likes a man who knows how to treat their inferiors correctly.

“And what is it that he ordered you?” She asked out of curiosity.

“It was a year ago, Miss Granger. He asks Kary to obliviate his memories of you Miss Granger and put a new one.”

Her heart stopped beating.
And after that, all her questions were answered.
